Who owns all that snow and Ice?

Canada

I recently seen this and thought it was a problem as to who really own the artic as I thought it was always Canada and we allowed other nations there as the Antarctic is really not claimed by any one other than the fact it is controlled by the UN. Since then I have read that Canada, Denmark, Russia and the US all feel they own it as well. Who should own it or should it be governed the same as the Antarctic? http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/cdnmilitary/arctic.html

I don't think anyone should own it. There have been so many countries that have traveled there and it should be always be open to all .

The U.S. has done a lot of work too. sometimes they have people up there for 6 months or more before they are relieved, bless their heart.I don't know how they can stand to be cooped up in those tin cans.I would go stark raving mad!lol
