A trip to Wal-mart.....

You are in the middle of some kind of project aorund the house. Mowing the lawn, putting a new fence in, painting the living room, or whatever. You are hot and sweaty. Covered in dirt or paint. You have your clothes on. You know the outfit, shorts with the hole in crotch, old t-shirt with stain from who knows what, and an old pair of tennis shoes.
Right in the middle of this great home improvement project you realize you need to run to Wal-mart to get something to help complete the job. Depending of your age what kind of things would you do before going to Walmart? Would you shave and take a shower? Blow dry your hair? Would you add a dab of your favorite cologne? Would you check yourself in the mirror before you go? Or maybe you would wipe the dirt off your hands?

I think its a matter of hygine I would clean up wash up and change clothes. heck my husband and son were putting in horseshoe pits last week and they needed more sand, they were dressed pretty shaby , and I asked my husband are you going like that? he said are you going? and I said no, he said than I will go like this, lol he knows if I was going he was gonna have to clean up and change.

I would wash up and change into clean clothes before going to WalMart. I am not sure about the age part of this question. I would have definitely done the same when I was younger. And as I get older, I am sure I will still do the same. It is just a matter of person hygiene to me.

Hi friend, thank you for your answer. I think the age matter, for example, some young people stop what they are doing, shave, take a shower, blow dry their hair, brush their teeth, floss, and put on clean clothes. Somehow, they might meet someone hot chick while standing on the checkout lane. In the other hand, some old people stop what they are doing, put a hat on, wipe the dirt off on their hands onto their shirt and then they are ready to go.

I gotcha? Yes, when I was young and single I might have been a little more fussy about looking nice before going to the store. ;)

i will usually clean up a little bit first before i go out... i just not used going out in a very dirty condition... my parents always not allowed me to do it since i am a woman and they always say that i have to pay attention to my appearance (not too much though...) :-)

No, walmart will never get any special attention from me,I would run to Target or a hardware store long before I'd o there, I worked for them for a year and I despise them with a passion, so if I had to go there, I'd probably roolll around in the mud first.

I would go as is, and have so many times. Heck I have gone to Walmart in the middle of the night in my PJ's to get the kids medicine. Of course it's not just walmart, I generally don't care what other's think of me and I go out as I am all the time anywhere. To me fashion and impressing strangers is for the birds, life is too short, why waste it on such silly things?

I'd wash my hands and brush my hair, but that's about it. In the time it would take me to clean up I could have been there and back. Plus, they I'd just have to change clothes and such again, so I probably wouldn't get back to the project that day. I'm better off getting what I need and getting back to my project before I lose the motivation to do whatever it is.

I would probably just go as is. There are times i go out and dont make myself look presentable. I normally dont care what i look like. I would probably wash my hands and that would be just about it.

I would probably do all of the above. I like to look good when I go out because I never know who I will meet, and frankly, no one likes a smelly person. I used to work in a hardware store and let me tell you, you get all kinds of people there and especially in the summer, the BO can be unbareable!

I have and would at least wash off and change clothes that are clean. I would feel very uncomfortable going dirty and about that time you would run into someone you haven't seen in awhile.It don't take that much time to clean up alittle but you can tell if the person is working on something or normally dirty I guess.lol

i would first before doing any project... make a checklist and see what i actually need. Then go and get it... Thats the organized and smart way... But mostly the organized way... lol.
I would not go in the middle of the night or whtevr...
I would go the next morning... And make myself look presentable...
Or good,and dress well... DO NOT EVER LOOK LIKE A BUM..
