Seven Thousand Iraquis Brought to America

I had heard that this was going to happen, so it comes as no surprise. Even the fact that some in government want to bring in about two million more. My problem with this is where are all these people going to live? How will they find jobs(or will they be given government handouts)? Work is scarce in some areas all ready. Some US citizens are living in such poverty that it almost brings me to tears. What is our government thinking? I don't think these people will be welcomed with open arms when so many that live here are living in dire straits.

I say send them to Cuba, they have lots of room on the U.S.M.C. base there. I think we should have closed the borders a long time ago, like circa 1890's. That's just my opinion, don't fault me for it.

I don't fault you for saying it, totty, because it is probably what so many are thinking but afraid to say. There seems to be a fear of speaking your mind going around, but I have always been open about my feelings. America does not need this added burden when many people here are living in conditions that are below the poverty level. Thanks for your response.
