What is the cost of bread in your country

I think bread is a common food for the poor people.Then please mention the cost and your nation.In our country it costs ten rupees.Is their any food cheaper than bread?

In Bangalore a Bread will cost 10 to 15 Ruppees. It is a common food all over the world. may the taste and the baking will differ.I have seen cheaper fod than this in Mumbai . It is called Pav

I live in virginia located in the united states.Our bread cost around $1.49 a loaf.It depends on what type of bread.The most will be $3

In India,for a packet of bread,it costs around 12-15 Rs.One packet will have around 20 bread pieces in it.But for sweet category,price is little more higher.

I think rice and dryed beans are cheaper. Here where we live in Wisconsin, USA the cheap bread is about $1 but the good bread can cost as much as $4 or $5. I like to make bread myself. It tasts much better. I never did a cost check on the bread I make myself.
