has anyone seen the latest potter movie?well,i just did.and all i can say is LAME!!!!you can't undertand the story if you haven't read the book.it's a good thing that i've read the book.it's a total disapointment.it is to me by far,the best book in the series and to be interpreted in a movie like that is an insult to JK Rowling and to all Harry Potter fans.it's as if they've taken a paragraph in every chapter of the book and then that's the script.everything's cramp together.the series of events is so fast like they want to end the movie immediately.i understand that there is very limited time for a movie, but come on!they sure could do better.i've read that the scriptwriter read the book the only the first time when he made the script.i guess he wants to finish the script early or otherwise he is just terrible in scriptwriting.the directing is also a mess.i know that he is a newbie in films, but the result of the movie is so bad.he'd better stay in plays or else other movies that he'll be directing will flop.i really am very disapointed with the movie.i've waited a long time for it to come out in theaters only to be brokenhearted like that.i hope that JK Rowling and warner bros will choose better script and director for the last 2 movies.but the damage is done.shame...

yeah.they definitely are correct.my advice is to read the book first before watching the movie so that you'll understand the movie.

i was quite disappointed with the movie. I haven't read the book but i guess i had too much expectations with it that i was disappointed after i have watched it. It's so fast tracked that some scenes or some parts of the story were unclear to me.. I have understood it but there were some details which i wanted the movie to expound. It seems like those some parts were just in passing that they remained in my mind without any continuation.. for example, i wondered about those "army" with the giants and centaurs.. after the end of the movie, i don't know what happened to them or what and where is the battle they would have to attend to.. it also wasn't so clear what exactly the "order of the phoenix is"? And if Dumbledore was one of its founders, why hasn't it mentioned in the previous movies.. i also found not so amazing the "mind" training of harry.. i expected he would use it creatively in the later part with Voldemort but it was as simple as that.. Well, i guess JK Rowling did a good job with the book but i was not so happy with the movie.

I agree that you wouldn't understand it unless you read the book. I watched the movie along with my friends, I was the only one who read the book, and they were like, "What is that?", "Why did that happen?", etc. I couldn't concentrate! Hahaha. Simply shows it leaves a lot of questions for the viewers who haven't read the movie.
