What was one thing you loved doing as a child?

I loved washing things. I remember taking a sponge and a bucket of water out to wash my grandpa's big black van every time I went over. It was one of my favorite things to do. I was watching this little girl washing a fire hydrant, and I remember washing the one in front of our house when I was little, too. It sounds odd, but I guess I was a meticulous child fond of cleanliness.. whatever happened to that little girl I used to be? :)

I remember, I love playing hide and seek and I am rarely seen by the one who looks for those hide. It's because my body is flexible enough to fit myself in a place that is very impossible for someone to hide in and that no one would ever somebody's hidden there. I also like role-playing either with my toys or with my childhood friends. Though it may look weird but creating stories and having it played with my dolls is fun.

Children are innocent and do everything according to their mind, and forget many things as they grow up.Similarly other members of my house tell me about the mischief I used to do and almost everyone has told me this thing-once a cat gave birth to 3-4 babies near our house. I used to put those babies in one bag made of cloth, all at a time, and turn it round and round with a very great speed.I don't know what fun I used to get out of it but I did.he..he.

There are two major things I remember: 1. My cousin and I would nab the empty shampoo bottles, deoderant bottles, etc and then we would set up "shop" and make our brothers be the customers. 2. The same cousin and I would get the JC Pennies and Sears catalogs and we would sit with pens and legal pads and plot out our whole lives - husbands, houses, kids, kids names, careers, furniture, our clothing, our weddings, etc

I to loved to help my mom out in the kitchen. Especially, when she would make deserts from scratch. She would make carrot cakes and she would allow my two older sisters and I to help her grade the carrots. She also made bread pudding, like known I have tasted since then. When she made whole baked chicken, she would let me hold the chicken. I loved it because the skin of the chicken felt so weird to me. But I would get upset when she couldn't come in the kitchen and make me a snack, because she never let me do it. She would ask my older sister, saying that I was too young.

hey that's cute. i was a bit of a washer myself but i preferred to wash a lot of dishes. i would pull a stool near the sink, climb up and just do the dishes every single day. my siblings loved that of course because then they didn't have to do the chore anymore. i still love washing dishes

I loved to help my mother cook. Before Christmas we would make fruit cake, and my brother and I would help mom put in the raisins and the fruit and the juice. (Mom was a teetotaler so we did not use rum.) She would tell us not to much and to make sure we coated the fruit and nuts with flour. Then she would mix the batter and let us lick the beater when it was finished. I still love cooking even now, but I would rather use rum in my Christmas cake. It makes it much better.
