hello secretbear. favorite word for crazy? i think i prefer the word insane. this is beacuse you can add many words to give emphasis, quality, and new meaning to it like you can say...she is terribly insane, pleasantly insane (is there such a thing ..lol) or cleverly insane. words are really powerful and interesting.

I usually use psycho, most of the time when I do use psycho I am referring to a crazy girl I don't like .... it usually follows with other words, lol. Sometimes I use weirdo too. But psycho is definently my favorite although I do use crazy once in a while(usually in the car when there are crazy drivers).

I like "psycho" too and psychotic. LOL but I usually use them when referring to dangerous people, those crazy people really gone mad doing odd things like stalking, torturing animals and people, and killing people if they are madder than they already are. ^__^;; If you're familiar with the tv show LOST, I describe ben as a psychotic fool. LOL thanks for being crazy and responding to this. ^__^

hello secretbear, ohhh god what a discussion here.its really amazing to see such questions and more interesting to answer them. well in english we have lots of words having the same meaning.infact we have two same words having the same meaning.its the real game of words and nothing else. in our language we call it "pagala".but while speaking english i use insane or mad, crazy being the most popular one.as you have mentioned it here so i had to search for an alternative.

Oh I don't think I could pick a favorite! There are just too many good ones. If I mean in an endearing way about someone I love but that is crazy in a funny way I'll call them a "Fruitcake". If it's someone that crazy in ways that don't make any sense I'll call them a "Nut case". Other terms that I use would be head case, off their rocker, messed up, odd ball, and not right. I really like the concept of being "eccentric". I hope people would be willing to consider me eccentric although I highly doubt anyone I know uses that term for me lol.

My favourite word for crazy is CUCKOO! I use it all the time, and I refer it to people who are totally mad and come up with these weird notions and who haven't a clue about stuff! I also use it when people start doing my head in. Getting on my nerves like my housemate does, I often tell him he's driving me cuckoo!

In the UK we have lots of expressions to say someone is crazy. I always say they are.... Loopy Loo La. Doo Lally Tat. The lights are on but no ones home. A sandwich short of a picnic. Round the bend. A Lunatic. From the funny farm. Lives in cuckoo land. I must admit I have used the words demented and deranged too, depending on how crazy they are.LOL
