if you are in a hurry because you have to reach somewhere and you are eating the food, do you eat the food quickly to save the time or do you eat it at the normal speed or do you stop eating when you are getting late? why?

I've always for some reason have been a bit of a speed eater. I don't know why though, I just am. Even if I'm in a hurry, I still try to get done as quickly as possible but not over do it. I only do it up to a certain point. If I'm going to eat fast, I slow down. If I'm in a hurry I probably just grab something small for now that could hold me over for a little bit of time exactly.

i think that it's a good choice to eat little bit when in a hurry and then afterwards eat the whole meal

sometimes I take shorter, faster luch breaks and then yes, I do eat faster then I probaly should, but it seems worse not to eat at all...so you need some kind of nourishment to work right....

yeah, you are right that if you are hungry then it's very important to eat, but if you eat the food too quickly then it may cause indigestion, so there is a way that increase your little bit and eat little less food and eat the next meal an hour quick(before the normal time). what do u think?

i tend to eat food quickly or indeed fast food when im in a rush (this is most of the time). If i am really late, i will skip food all together and this is never a good move lol. blessed be

thanks, i think that skipping is a better choice becuase i have heard that if eat the food quickly then we can't chew it properly and it causes indigestion, have a good day/ night.

thanks. i think that eating fast has advnantages and it also had disadvantages like when we eat fast then the food is not properly chewed and it causes indigestion, i think it would be good if you try to eat at a normal speed but if you don't want to change your habit or yo just can't change then it's not a v. bad habit if we are not having any problems. have a nice day and happy mylotting to you.

if i am in a hurry, i definitely eat my food at top speed, cause i am usually so tensed in such situations, that i want to get over with the food as fast as possible. but skipping a meal is out of the question, because my mom would never let me do it. besides, if you skip food in a hurry you are bound to get hungry soon, because of the extra adrenaline released in times of tension.

If i am extra hungry, i eat it quickly & faster than normal speed but if i amn't hungry, i simply leave my meal and go away. I often do it when i go to my college. If driver comes & i am eating, i run away if i amn't hingry.

I am never in so much of a hurry that I can't take time to slow down and eat properly. I like to enjoy my food, not just inhale it, and not remember what it was I just ate. I like to take time over a meal, and actually taste what I've just put in my mouth.

If I was in that much of a hurry I would probably just leave the food! I know this isn't the best idea but I don't have much of an appetite at the best of times! Love the avatar xxx

I used to eat very quickly because I always felt I was in a hurry LOL.. But now I have recognised that hurry leads to worry that leads back to hurry again.. It has to be a case of "no hurry-worry".. I heard that in a film once, but I cannot remember what film it was :-)

when I am really hurry I would not eat at all but normally I try to eat as much as I can because I would not be able to eat after. I would prefer be late on my class or date.

I always eat at the same pace as I find that if I eat too quickly I get indigestion and that can be really painful, I also find that if I eat slowly then I fill up alot more than when I eat quickly, there is nothing worse than eating quickly and then still feeling empty as it hasnt had time to settle in your stomach! I would stop eating if I was going to be late or take something in the car with me that I could munch on, on the way to whereever I was going

Well, if I'm already eating the food, I might eat as fast as possible. It it's just a sandwich or something, I'll save it and continue eating later. I'm the type of person who likes to take my own sweet time while eating. I don't like eating in a hurry. So most of the time if I know I'm rushing somewhere, I just usually skip my meal.. Don't follow my way people.. :P

I will always have allowance of time for taking food and even If I am in a hurry, I eat the food in a normal way. In inevitable situation, I pack the food and eat when I find time.

If I eat too quickly I am guaranteed to get stomach problems afterwards like heartburn or indigestion, if I haven't got the time then I will try and take a snack with me, like munching on fruit until I get time to sit down and eat. I am a slow eater and prefer to enjoy my food I hate rushing, it's not good for the body.

When I am in a hurry and have to be somewhere I will try to eat faster . I will eat as much as I can before we go and then either take what is left with me to eat on the drive to get there or just leave it and try to catch a bite to eat later on when I have more time . I hate the idea of being late for anything so would rather not eat then end up being late for wherever it is that I need to be .

I try to eat food quickly, if I am in hurry, I know it is not good for our health and digestive system. But I do not want to leave hungry and do not wish to become late for my destination.

I tend to rush my food, not a good move, I know! I just don't believe in wasting food, because I have so little money. If I could put it in the fridge I would, and save it until I got home. If it would not last that long, then I would eat as much as I can, as there are people in other countries that are starving. x

I am a nervous person and try to do everything perfectly. If I am in a hurry, I will eat food quickly so that I can do what I have to do next. I know eating too fast is not good for my health, but I just cannot help eating faster. LOL
