I can't remember what a real holiday is. Whenever we go on vacation we have to go to the inlaws and stay AT the inlaws. My husband comes from a large family with a HUGE extended family. There are always people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. I hate it. I can't get used to it. The last time we went we went for their 50th anniversary and had to stay at another house. Ahhh, peace and quiet in our basement "apartment" (the four of us slept in the basement - my husband and I in a bedroom, the girls in the playroom - and we had our own bathroom. I would love to go to some place really quiet. I am not the partying type and just to hide away at a cottage somewhere would be heaven for me, or even better a nice private resort where someone else does the cooking. I want to get away from the ringing phones and doorbells, get away from the computer, get away from the annoying friends who drop by uninvited. I don't like noisy parties or bars. I would just love some peace and quiet.

The very fact one wants to go out on holiday is to have a peaceful time with members of his family and relatives/friends. What is the fun in going to a crowded place. unfortunately in India, most of the holiday resorts are always crowded perhaps except during the rainy days. I do not like crowded place.

I try to avoid crowded places whenever I can. That's why I prefer more serene places. I just tend to get panicked when I get around large crowds of people.

Hi there. No way, when we go on holiday we like to go to serene places , after all thats what holidaying is for us... Getting away from the busy working lifestyle and the unwanted visitors lol... We would have no holiday if we were to go to a crowded place... And what about you?

I prefer serene place. I hate crowded areas. I can't go shopping before or after holidays because of the crowds. They make me very very nervous.

Serene is the best, I think. No risk, no danger, no shout, no disturbance in serene place. It is a week end holiday. My friend left for a picnic with other friends. He is send sms, saying that you lost a chance of joy. But I replied that I am in peace and you are in crowd. So you justify that Who is loser. I am here and responding you saisuhamani, which is not possible in crowdy place.

I do not like crowded areas, so I'd pick a serene place. Well, that is if we are talking about CROWDED areas. There is nothing wrong on going to a beach with some people, I don't want to be alone! However, I hate those places where you can barely move, and to do so you have to jump at other people's head! Places like those totally sucks for me, and I don't like them, not even a bit. I feel uncomfortable. So, I pick up serene places.

I want to go somewhere that is quiet and peaceful. If it is noisy, I don't like it. I want quiet so I can relax.

serene place will fit my needs for my day off, get away from crowded people and daily activities will refresh my brain and looses stress from rush hours. but sometimes it depend with who you spending it, if with friends or family is sometimes quite fun to travel and shoping or just see sighting, but I still prefer a holiday as a lazy day on serene place.
