I just found out my childhood best friend just had her baby. I have been friends with this girl since we were 5. It is just so amazing to see that we are still in contact and get to see our children. She just had a beautiful baby boy. I haven't got to meet him yet. I'm looking so forward to seeing him. I have seen pictures though. She has a picture posted of the first time she saw him and got to hold him. It was the sweetest picture. She looked so happy and had tears of happiness flowing. And the daddy was right by her side. It was just too sweet. It brought tears to my eyes to see such happiness. It brought back so many memories of the first moment I held my daughter. I'm so proud of my friend. I know she is going to be such a good mommy.

That's great. Babies are so much fun. My first best friend doesn't have any kids yet, but I do still stay in contact with her. We became friends in kindergarten. We're not really that close anymore, but I do try to make it a point to see her anytime I'm back home. Her mom buys presents for my son when I'm home, too. I really miss being so close, but life happens. I live 1100 miles away now and am married with a child. She is living with her boyfriend, but they don't plan on having children anytime soon. I think if they did, we would probably be closer again, because we would have things in common again. It's really cool that your friend has a baby while your own daughter is still young. In a couple of years, they will be able to play together.

Its a nice news for you and for your friend. My childhood friend also got a new baby. I am truly happy for her. I am afraid to think about myself having one. Getting pregnant and giving birth is really something that really scares me.
