Great Auntie

I am a great auntie as of last Friday! Hubby is of course a great uncle as well. Our niece gave birth to a healthy baby boy and mum and baby are doing very well. He is quite a cutie and we look forward to seeing him :D xxx

I used to do that too and even for the grandkids the hands won't let me now and I miss it , mind you I like the computer to so that sort of makes up for it , he will be the best dress bairn in town lol If I know you xxxx

LOL that's for sure pal! I'm back to doing sets for preemies at my local hospital. It's just a nice way to help a little one along :) xxx

Welcome to the Great Aunty Club sweetheart - I joined last year and it is wonderful although I have only got to meet ny Great Niece once! I do hope you get to meet the little fella soon! Congratulations Sweets - enjoy meeting him! xxx

I bet he is so handsome! I see from weemams response that you have been making clothes for hime - I adore seeing babies in hand knitted/crocheted clothes! xxx

Oh yes, I started knitting/crocheting for him even before he arrived. I do enjoy doing things like that. Right now I'm back to doing preemie hats/gloves/booties sets for my local hospital. It's just a nice way to help someone :) xxx

congrats on your niece, i bet she is a beautiful a baby!!! baby's are so sweet.. what were they going to name her? i have 2 kids of my own they are almost grown though, they do grow up fast dont they... sometimes i wish they were still little... i also have a niece and 5 nephews, but i dont get to see them very often they live in another state... except the baby one i see him as much as i can.. he's a sweet one.

I think there is some confusion...it was my niece who had a baby boy...making him my great nephew. They don't live too far away so hopefully we'll be making a trip to see them soon. Thanks for the reply!
