Spam Mail - Do you delete your spam mail even without reading it?

I never bother to read a spam mail and I delete it even without reading. I am not sure if some of my important mails get into the spam mail box by mistake, but I do no read even the subject of spam mails. What is your idea about spams? Do you read and then delete it or delete even without reading, just as I do.

With many email accounts, there is a section where you can put in "phrases" that indicate where you want mail sent. You can create folders, where you indicate where mail with certain topics or senders can go.

i don't read them actually but ya i open the bulk folder and look into the subject line.and i think there is no harm in opening the folder as long as you are not opening the mail itself. if i find anything that important i do bother to open the mail without bothering it being spam.but mostly i don't find anything important.once or twice i had some mails related to my job,so i had to open that.otherwise i simply delete them without opening.

i do check the subject of my spam mails just to check if they are really spam because sometimes due to mail administrator's error an important mail can go into spam or junk folder. though i never bother to open and read them..i don't have required patience for that!:)

Yeah me too. I Read the subject line. If it seem important I open the mail. I think we have to do this because, if we dont screen, even by mistake we may delete an important mail.

Yeah, that's what I do to. Sometimes my emails can get jumbled up in SPAM. I just go through the subjects and if none seem familiar, I then delete them..

This morning I accidentally opened a spam letter in my regular e-mail. I was very upset, as I never usually open them. If I do not recognize the sender, I junk it right away.

Sometimes, i just read the subject & delete it and sometimes, i read the name of sender & delete that mail without reading. I too don't open spam mails and just delete them after reading senders names or the subjects. I don't like to waste my time in reading spam mails.

I delete all spam. I never bother reading it. The whole lot is dumped in my junk box & auto deleted. If it comes via outlook express, I just hit the delete button for every one. I never bother or get annoyed over it.

I check my spam mail to see if anything important got filter over to it and if not then I just empty it. I use to just delete it without even checking it, until I received an important message there, I lost a opportunity that I was interested in. But know I do check.

I read who it's from and the subject. If it appears to be spam it gets selected as spam and/or deleted. I hate spam, and we just want to put it away as spam in the folder or delete it. Deleting it is better because I don't want to read about my pe.nis being bigger or buying medicine. Thank you. Pablo

I will read it and delete it later, ranjeetkolarkar. My email is yahoo so that when I get the spam mail,my email box will show me that a spam mail is in my box so that I can easily deside to read it or just delete it.But I often read it because I'm curious about what kind of spam mail I will receive.:P

It depends on which inbox it is. If it's my main e-mail inbox, I look at the titles of the e-mails. If it seems to be important, it gets put into my Inbox. If it looks to be stupid or pointless, I just delete it without even looking at the e-mail. If it was a different age, I might look at the e-mail. But since, in this age, spam can contain viruses and quite a bit of other problems, I don't open them for fear of harming my computer in any type of way. Besides, what point does spam serve? Do I *really* need to read about using Viagra?

I check through my spam mail because sometimes some of my friends get new email addresses and then send me an email and it ends up in the spam mail. I go through it pretty fast so it does not take me much time to scan for mail I want to keep.

I suggest you be very careful when deleting SPAMS. I have experience an incident wherein a perfectly solicited email got in my SPAM box instead of my INBOX. No wonder the person keep on calling me if I have recieve his email yet, I found them in my SPAM. ANd some websites you register do send their verification email in your SPAM intentionally, so read those SUBJECTS first before deleting them next time.

There are way too many viruses going around. I try my best to simply mark as spam and then delete it. I hate that you try to sign up for things and then you get stuck with a ton of spam. I definitely delete without even reading it. I used to try and unsubscribe to each piece of spam. But this ended up getting me MORE spam. So, now I mark as spam and hit delete.

I delete spam mail without even reading it. I don't know where half of the stuff comes from! My mail is always full of it, and my bulk mail always has something coming up even right after I empty it. I sometimes wonder if I should at least skim through for an unexpected non spam email in the bulk folder, but I don't even do that!
