Were having a little conversation lst night with my kids about washing hands and feet. My youngest daughter has been playing outside for and half an hour when she's sister called her for eat. She told her wait I have to wash my hands first, and her sister told her also and your feet also. And suddenly she ask me mom which is more dirtier hands or feet? I just told her maybe feet coz when ever you wash it already then you step on the floor but the floor has a germ it will go to your feet and If you still put sleepers and still you can't see the germs on the sleepers still it will get more dirt. How about you friends, Can you please share your opinion about this, It's kinda wierd but I just want to solve the problem hehehe. Thanks

Hands and Feet and dirty, it depends how you used them... like do you used your feet eating?... NO... you used your hands so always wash your hands and feet too. You should always wear a shoe or sandal when not using your feet in the house because it picks up germs and makes your feet smell...

we wash our habds quite often ..but we do not care much about our feet . It is said somewhere that your foot is as important as your face . Cleaning it up is part of good hygienic habits.

I think hands. Most people wear shoes while walking. In HIndu custom, shoes/sandals are not allowed inside the house. But house is kept clean and a small portion of dust is gathered at soles and toes, but it can be cleaned easily. Secondly, the hands are used for empteen number of works from morning to evening. We are used to eat in barehands (we do not use the spoon or fork) and as a result we keep washing our hands eachtime when we have breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. Also it depends on the nature of work. If it is involved in machine works, automobile etc. the hands become more dirty. In rainy season also, if one is not wearing shoes, the feet need to be cleaned or watered. So ultimately it depends on the habits and the way of life one has.

i would have to say feet, because you wash your hands so often it becomes a habit.. although fingers can be bad for kids because while there outside they are always picking up things, and touching things, then most kids will put there fingers in there mouth for some reason... and not think about it... but i have to say i hate feet , im not a foot person at all, but im glad i have mine lol...

Hands are washed often - Hands are cleaner than feet since they are washed more often. I wash only my feet at the end of the day, before going to sleep.
For me, feet are dirtier because they are always close to the ground, dust...if you're barefooted, it is the entry point for germs in the soil. So children should never go out of the house barefooted. But hands, although they are always in contact with things, are cleaner, because you always wash them or use a sanitizer before eating, or after using the comfort room. In fact at night, it's a must to wash our feet, our face, etc...but we disregard the hands because it is presumed that they are always kept clean by its owners....

For me, feet is dirtier than the hands. It is the one we use everywhere we go, even though we are wearing shoes,we can't still be sure if those shoes we are wearing are clean. The hands can be washed and we are also using a hand sanitiser. Im sure that hands are clean than feet.

Hello lynboobsy11, feet are dirtier if they are bare,so your kids should wear sports shoes before playing outside, however they must make a habbit to clean both feet and hand with a germ killer soap/liquid once they enter inside the home but the dirtiest is some human minds, and unfortunately no germ killer is available in the market to clean the dirt from inside those minds lol.

This is a very interesting topic. I think feet are dirtier than hands. Because you won't wash your feet frequently, but it's common that you will wash your hands at least for several times. Besides, you can use your hands to eat foods, can you use your feet to do so? I don't think so:)

I think feet is more dirtier than the hands, since we do wash the hands many times a day, but we do wash our feet less frequently than the hands. Also feet has more contact to the dust and other impurities in the land than the feet and so feet is more dirtier than the hands.

Ohhh... that photo makes me want to throw up! I hate hate hate hate hate HATE! feet. I switch the television channel when photos of feet come on the screen. I think feet are the absolute most disgusting things. I'd say your feet are more dirty because you're hands are constantly being washed (hopefully) and your feet may be in shoes or in socks but they swear more and they are more likely to get germs on them. Which is just one of the many many reasons that feet are absolutely disgusting!

well i think its the hand still..why? because we always use our hand with almost everything specially the unseen germs..even if we wash more of our hands the germs just keeps on coming back because we always use our hands with almost everything..take note even for washing our behind we use our hands for it..isnt that dirty to begin with? feet can be dirty but we just dont use our feet for everything..we just use it for walking and some motions as well..but hands share most of the work to be done..so i think its the hands still..

Unless their feet are in flip flops or they are walking barefoot, then I say their feet are ok. Hands on the other hand are far more germy. Since we are touching and picking all the time.

It depends if you are wearing shoes or not. No shoes, or socks, then I would say feet are dirtier. If you are wearing shoes then I say hands have more germs.

It's our feet that is dirtier even if we are doing dirty things with our hands!!!But tell your child that both of them are supposed to be clean.
