My partners birthday is the day after my dads. They do stuff together most years. Me, a cousin is 8 days before me, and an uncle 6 days after. I get to keep my day to myself. That is really good as i really do not like to make a huge deal out of it. Just a quiet dinner will do nicely.

Nobody in my family has the same birthday as me, but my mother and my paternal grandfather share November 17th. When my step-grandfather was alive, he also had his birthday on the 17th of November. November is a popular month for us, but that day is super popular.

I shared my birthday with my Mom. I was her '32nd birthday present'. I always enjoyed that. We used to race to see who could wish the other a happy birthday first. It was hard, though, when she passed away. She was only 64. I remember my big brother talking about how difficult it would be at Christmas time with her gone. I said something about my birthday, and then he remembered. But when my next birthday came, there was a bunch of roses and a card from him waiting for me at my door. (We usually don't exchange gifts between us.) I think that made me cry even more, but it was really touching. I still remember the whole family singing Happy Birthday and fitting both of us in! Mom always said she stopped aging at 32, because she gave away all her birthdays to me.
