After his retirement from teaching physics in a university, my father had been very busy in a small farm that he bought a couple of years ago. I've been busywith my thesis, and he's busy with his new found love, which is farming. Though relatively far away, my father always manages to show me how much he loves me by sending me bananas, and watermelons, and guavas, and jackfruit and many other kinds of friuts that he grows in the farm. The last one that he sent me was one of the last few pieces of watermelon that was left from the last harvest that he had. I had it all to myself. :). As I was savoring the sweet and watery fruit which is my favorite, there was a slight tightening in my chest. I miss my Dad. At that very moment, I wanted to hug my father as tight as I can, but not tight enough that would make his eyes pop out. :p. I want to thank him for all the love he's given me, and for the watermelons.:). Then I had the chance to go home, most fortunately, my father is home too. :). When I saw him, I just called out to him, "Tataaay!"(Tatay is an endearment for father in our native dialect Cebuano) And finally got that chance to hug my father, but I forgot to thank him for the watermelon. :). Maybe because, Tatay is more than enough. And now, I miss him again. Do you miss your father?

You should see him as often as you could because that may bring in more cheers. He may be of some help to you in your thesis, because he was a teacher in physics and his guidance in presentation of thesis will be of great help.

Hey ssh123. :) Whenever I get to see my dad, I always update him with my thesis. And I do ask him what he thinks about it, though he is into physics and I'm into biology. But Tatay's comments, and sometimes, out of this world suggestion and questions turn out to be very valuable. That's why I always listen to what he has to say. :)
