There are are almost 75 types of Pranayam, disussed in Bahiranga Yoga. Pranayam differs by theirs way of doing and pattern of breathing.Each Pranayam has its own benifits and sometimes it can harm you if you do not follow proper brathing pattern and propper posture. For loosing wait one can practice mainly these three pranayams- Tribandha Pranayam, Bhastrika pranayam, kapaal-bhati pranayam. If you are fit and want to maintain yourself, you can do more Nauli Sanchalan and Tribandha Pranyam.

thanks for ur comments sugarloss u should start with controling your breath by sitting straight and than watch while u inhale and exhale air and concentrating in between your forehead with ur eyes closed do it for half an hr u will find very relaxing.
