do you enjoy eating while watching TV?

It depends on what is on the TV! We don't have cable so we'll watch movies...generally it's something I like, but sometimes it's really boring! It's hard though because I don't want my toddler getting used to this habit. Oh well.

snacks is okey, but only when its time for me to have snacks, other times, i dont eat in front of the tv... but in front of the pc, i do... i cant leave mylot.. lol

I like to eat while watching tv in my room for some reason and is pretty much the only place where I eat when im at home I just find it relaxing to me while watching a show I like and eating if we have to eat as a family I will go down and not eat and just bring up the food when there done of course for breakfast I eat at the table because im in a rush and dont have time for tv.

yup i actually eat dinner in front of the TV pretty often. they say that married couples shouldn't have tvs cos it takes aways so much time that should be spent communicating wtih each other. but sometimes it's good just to eat and catch up wtih the local and overseas news. or just to relax and be entertained. i don't snack whilst watching. sometimes i eat my fruits after dinner also in front of the TV. healthy food. heh.

I enjoy eating while watching tv!i enjoy eating yogurt,fruits,chocolates,even rice and soupy dishes!I don't eat more than one portion while watching tv.that's why i like eating while watching.usually i'll eat while watching Ellen,Psych,That 70's show,movies on HBO,Cinemax or even Starworld!I love cable and eating!

Yes!! I love to watch television and eat. Sometimes I watch movies while eating too and then I load up on popcorn. I eat so much more than I normally would when watching tv or movies just because I'm not really paying attention to what I'm eating.

Not really i was bought up that meals are for family times and in my house at meal times we all sit at the table .The kids and hubby have snacks while watching the tv .However i do not watch that much tv that i need to snack while there .

I hate while eating, it makes us indigestion and empty stomach.

I eat while watching TV. I do it more often than not. I think that it is the most enjoyable place in the house for my family to sit down together for a meal.

I usually don't eat while watching tv. but I do sometimes and I enjoy it. ^__^ but if I'm watching something that really needs my ears, like I couldn't afford to miss a word, I don't eat. it distracts me from listening. ^__^

Eating and watching tv are two different aspects of life. We could not concetrate on any one of more than one works we started. If you want to watch tv with full concetration, then you should keep yourself attentive to watch the tv well. If you need to eat positively then you should give full attention to your eating and eating stuff. you could not enjoy voyage on two or more than two boats. Remember that a Jockey of every trade is master of none. No attention in eating will make you faty, No attention in watching tv will give you less information or intertainment. So we should do one job in one time.

I like eating and meanwhile watching TV. That was my habit. However, now my child grows up and he's 3 years old. So when we are having a meal, I will turn off the TV so that he can focus on the meal.

Well i always watch tv when eating...Actually our tv is in living room where we mostly eat so ithas become an habit and i cant change it..

yes, we do it all the time. i'm renting a small studio unit so basically when i turn on the tv, i can see it whatever i'm doing at wherever corner of my room i was in. so i tend to watch the television while eating or even while in bed. and i enjoy it very much.

Thats a major bone of contention at home between my son and my husband. My husband grew up in a hostel so his ideas are very different from mine. I don't mind my son eating before the TV as long as he doesn't litter the place(he's seven). I feel home is a place where one should feel comfortable, cozy and relax. One should be able to do the things one can't outside. My husband feels that food should be had at the dining table with the whole family getting together. But, my husband's job has kept him away from home for years and my son and I used to consider mealtimes as something that had to be gone through and the easiest way to get the job done was to sit before the television. I think when everyone is eating at a different time in the family, there is no harm in doing so as one wishes. But, of course, I feel that if being away from the television can make the family come together at mealtimes the bonding increases between the family members. But then, everyone has to be present for that. Otherwise, each one to his own.
