Mine would have to be a small rubber snake that grows when you put it in water. I thought it was a great idea at the time, but once it gre to its full size (about a meter long) the novelty wore off and I threw it out and thought "Oh. Ok I just wasted $3". And that's the last stupid thing I bought. The other useless thing I bought before that were some small sparkly star cut outs. I have no idea what I'll use them for yet but they'll sit in my cupboard until i come up with something. What about you?

Ha Ha. I try my hardest not to buy things I waste money on. I can't even think of the last thing. I mean, I know I've done it! We get those growing things at my work all the time. Never had the snake though, I think I might have to find one for us. We've had fish and bears and dinosaurs and a turkey, yes... a turkey! not like an uncooked live turkey, a cooked turkyey like you'd have on your thanksgiving table.

Oh I work in the administrative offices for the county library system. we have some weird people who work here and old people who work here, so we always have some odd and goofy stuff going on around here.

The last totally useless item I purchased, was my 14 yar old daughters DVD player. This wa about one month ago. It worked at first, now it doesn't. It is the third DVD player we have bought her in oine year, & they all stop working. What a waste of money.

YOu know, I don't really remember the last useless thing I bought. I am very utilitarian, and I don't spend money unless its on something functional. I'm the woman that would LOVE to get a toaster as a present, instead of jewelry. So i can't really recall the last silly, pointless thing I bought. Someone did give me a little foam witch, for Halloween, that will grow when you put it in water. I'll have to try it. BUt I didn't buy it!!

I bought a mouse for my laptop. My friend presented me another mouse on the same day evening for my birthday. So the mouse I bought that morning is of no use to me now, as I prefer to use the mouse given by my friend. I think that is the only useless item I have bought. It was useless, not because its BAD, but because I cant use it now.

Axe body wash for men. It's what my husband used last time I seen him. It's been a year and half since I seen him. We are a long distance couple. Everytime I use it it reminds me of him, but I mainly torture myself with it. I really shouldn't have bought it. But hey you live and learn.

I can see why you bought it, I really can. It would have caught my attention as well. And for three dollars I would have convinced myself it was a must have. The most useless thing I bought was about two months ago, and I didn't know it was useless until I bought it. I bought a prepaid phone card with 75 minutes on it for five dollars. I cannot afford long distance, and I wish to keep in contact with my grandparents and sister and brother-in-law. Well, after 15 minutes of use they said I had used the entire 75 minutes. I was shocked. I called who the card recommended and I got an automated voice. I got online and they just kept referring me to someone else. I finally decided to chalk it up as a lesson learned and forget about it. But it was completely useless to me.

I don't buy the "useless", I buy the " it may be useful some day". The last item was a little note pad. It is floral and it is the right size. The only problem, I don't and didn't know what I was going to use it for.The good news is it was only a dollar.

A cutlery rack. A real bargain, and a great idea to keep the cutlery tidy in the kitchen. Fantastic until I got it home and realised that my cutlery doesn't have the little holes in the handles so I can't hang it up :-(

A butterfly hair clip. I thought it was really pretty and cute at that time with its glitter and all. But I suddenly changed my mind soon after I bought it. What was I thinking getting a butterfly hair clip? I felt 13 yrs old that time.. So yeah! I never wore it and it doesn't look like I'll wear it anytime soon! Maybe I'll pass it on to my sister. :)

The last stupid thing I bought was a miniture digital camera for 10.00. I have wanted a dig.camera for a long time but finances just don't allow for it. I came across this little device and thought I'd found paradise. It was 100% stupid. You could not preview your pictures without hooking your camera up to the computer. You could not even view what you were taking a picture of. it was all guess work. I got a good shot of a daisy....but then again I was in a field of them. thankfully I got my money back.

I bought an ice holder thing for when I moved. I got there and realized there was an ice maker already in the refrigerator. So it became totally useless.
