Dog rapes baby

This one just blows my mind. A woman says she left her 2 yr old baby in the room with a pitbull and when the child was screaming she returned to see the pitbull on top of her child raping it. Neighbors heard her screams and ran into help. They were finally able to pull the dog and child apart. How does this happen? Why in the world would a dog rape a child? Why would a dog even think to do such a thing? So now not only do we have to be afraid of perverted men trying to rape our children, we also have to watch out for dogs? That is crazy.

Im with you on this one. How in gods name does something like this happen? I hope that poor child forgets this whole horrible thing.

The dog was doing what comes natural to him. He doesnt really know what raping is, or that he isnt supposed to do it with a human. Thing is, they are wild animals, no matter how much we domesticate them, they still are what they are, and dogs should always be supervised around children.
This is a sad case, and I pray for that little boy. But the blame shouldn't be put solely on the dog.

Pitbulls are only known for being violent because they use them in dog fights. A majority of them aren't aggressive at all. It doesn't sound like this dog was being aggressive, it sounds like he was being a dog. People need to realize dogs are still animals, and need to be watched with young children!

Well, that's a crazy story! The dog wasn't raping the child. A dog has no morals and no understanding of such concepts. Dogs are wild animals and people tend to forget this. As much as you trust a dog, dogs are still animals. I don't think you have to worry about your children being raped by dogs any time soon...just watch your child around animals.

OMG!! That is such an awful story! I would be horrified! But now, really, why in the heck would any mother in her right mind leave a 2 year old unattended with a pitbull, in the same room? I wonder if the dog just went in the room or did she know that dog was in there when she left the child? If she knew that, she should have known that wasn't safe. I can't believe that happened, have never heard of such a thing in my life, but I would never say the dog was raping the baby, the dog didn't know wrong from right, it's a dog for crying out loud, but gosh, that's so sad, oh my gosh, poor child!
