Gas/ fuel

I have run out of gas one time, my stupidity . . .my my numb nut of a husband who drives a 1972 VW Baja Bug runs out of gas atleast once a week . . .he has NO FUEL GAGE in the stupid car and refuses to put one in!!!! So needless to say, I HAVE TO GO GET HIM everytime he runs out of gas!!!

One time I did, but that was only because someone had disconnected my fuel line one evening. Needless to say I didn't get very far and I wasn't too happy.

I've never run out of gas before. Probably because I fill the tank anytime it hits half full.

Not yet, but I sure came close.

Funny you should say this. I've been driving for over 10 years, and in the last month I've ran out of gas twice!! It was the 1st time I've ever run out of gas!

One time I ran out of gas twice in one afternoon! I didn't know I had a leak in the bottom of the gas tank. I drove and ran out of gas by the side of the road. Some nice people had a gas can in their trunk and were kind enough to go to the nearest gas station (about 10 miles away) and pick up gas for me. I paid them, we poured the gas in, thanked them, and they left. I only had 10 miles to go to get a full tank. Before I got there I ran out of gas again! That's when I found that the gas tank was leaking. Twice in one afternoon has to be some kind of record, lol!

No, but my dad did, i was laughing at him so bad because he sayd it was gona happen to me...but it didnt.

Probably yes I was pretty embarassed dragging my car in front of million people eyeing me like anything as if am dragging a moron!

Yea, In the middle of a street. I had to get out push the emrgency lights and then call a friend to bring some gas. I was out there for like an hour wating for her to bring the gas.

Yeah actually. We run out of gas constantly. We dont pay attention to the meter.. lol

yes, but thankfully I had aaa and they came to give me 2 gallons for free

Yep..i stubbornly convinced myself that i can wait to top up the tank and guess what..it happened twice in that year and i have to call for assistance. Quite embarrassing!
