I am really aggrivated with the new provider who handles our cable and telephone. I know it's beta but it's awful..The customer service puts me from one person to another never getting me into the right department.. Anyone ever experience something like that.?

Oh I hate to try to call any business or company any more. Not just getting the run around but my worst pet peeve when it comes to calling places is getting someone on the line that I can not understand but even worse is when I get the automated thing and they tell you to press such and such number for different things. I always just say "agent" over and over and finally I get to talk to a human. The other day I did call a local store to check on Nintendo Wii system and told the operator of the store that I wanted Electronics and I have no idea what dept. she hooked me up with but not what I ask for. hahahaha

What is the name of this new cable company? That is horrible customer service and they probably will not be around long if they do that to you and the other customers. They are either confused or stupid or do not care about their customers. I have had this happen before as well as being put on hold forever.

The new company is Called: "Suddenlink" I can't stand their service. They send you through a run around.. They claim it's the beta phone service..but I say it's their customer service..Even when I called through my headset voip another phone ..they put me on hold.. I am going to switch to verizon here next week and if I can find something better for the cable portion that will be switched to. Rather then own up to their mistakes they blame me for beta testing their system..I got a bill for their service..so I wouldnt say I am beta testing any more.!

Like the person above said it's horrible with any company they just don't know what to do or you get the run around with automated. I have thought about moving to Europe, for this and other reasions, our exchange student last year was very surprised that we went though automated services and were on hold for over 5 minutes a lot. Over there if there they always get a live person and are never on hold more the 5 minutes. I think we need to think about that over here, it would bring in more jobs, but business don't want to pay for it.

I have gone through the "Press One if you speak English, Press Two if you speak French," Press One if you want to contact with the telephone dept." etc. so many times, it gets annoying. Sometimes you just cannot get the department you want and have to wait on the line until all the robots have finished with their messages, and a real HUMAN gets on line. I remember when I could not get on the internet, and my connection kept going in and out. It took a long time to reach someone, and do all the tests and then found out later, that we needed a new cable box. Mind you soon after that I needed a new computer, and that made everything fine for a while.

Hi LittleFranciscan I just vented about Comcast, I used to have Charter when I lived in another city. When I moved to where me and my husband live onw, we had Suscom and didnt have any problems. But I guess Suscom was a smaller company that couldnt compete and got bought out. Its really a shame that companies such as this who rely on "customers" dont treat us better. Too bad one cant convince all the subscribers to discontinue their service at the same time. I think that would get their attention! xx
