Is this really true?

I heard as a young adult that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. I can see how this could be true in some cases but obviously not all of them. So how true do you think this is? My husband is one that could care less if he ate. He never gets hungry, he will eat if I make something(sometimes) but if I don't he will go days without eating. He literally has to think back to when the last time was he ate and it is usually 2 or 3 days earlier. It drives me nuts! LOL I love to cook and so when I was told this saying I thought all right! I have it made then. Leave it to me to fall in love with someone who doesn't eat! :P So please do tell me was your cooking what your hubby fell in love with? If your not married what experiences did you have regarding this? :)

Your husband is a little different. Doesn't he gets hungry? Hmm... but to me I think I agree that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. My husband likes eating, and I like cooking. Before we got married, he was skinny like only bones and skin. Lol. But after we got married, he liked eating my cooking and I like watching him eat. Every time I cook, he would eat with all his heart and I fell in love with him even more. He always praise my cooking, I am not being boast, it's just that my husband really like my cooking. I guess I am lucky to have him, and that he enjoys what I cook.

That is really good! I know what you mean sometimes when you talk about what others say about you it sounds boastful but I know you aren't being that way! :) I love to watch my husband eat as well. No he claims never to have felt hungry and he says I am strange! LOL Thanks for the comment. :)

I don't think this is that true anymore... It's like, if my wife can cook well, cool, but otherwise, I guess there are many choices outside. I can easily get any food I want out of the house kitchen.:P

Hey wizard good to hear from you on this subject! I guess it really depends on where you are! Here it isn't that easy! My brother-in-law would starve if he didn't have a wife that could cook. Well, he wouldn't cause he would just go to mommy! LOL. Anyway, he doesn't even know how to use a toaster! :P

I also was always told this by my father and grandmother. I have to say that with my husband it is true! I think it is an old wives tale, before it was cool for men to be in the kitchen. I have to say though that my hubby and I share the cooking in our household, but yes he has always told me that he is glad that he married someone who could cook!

My hubby and I share the cooking as well. Sort of anyway, he likes to bake more than cook so he will just all of a sudden get up and bake something. LOL We are not good in the kitchen together though unless one of us is baking and the other is cooking. We do things too different. :)

Well, in my case. it works. LOL...my hubby is a very good eater. Before we got married i think he's about 161 pounds, now he's close to 191...he loves every spicy food that I make. He loves almost asian cooking. so i make him a lot of Indonesian food or korean food or japanese food.

LOL my hubby gained some weight as well! When he eats he can pile in the food but he just never thinks of eating. He also can't understand why people have to eat. LOL. I keep telling him that it is him that is strange not us! :) BTW: I love the new avatar! So cute!
