This used to be an expression. Goody Goody Two Shoes. People were put down for being a goody goody two shoes..which ment they did not do anything their parents would disaprrove of..but do people still refer to people as goody goody two shoes? One girl told her friends that I was too respectful and boring..i guess i was ignorant and did not try to cop a feel or make a pass at her..as on our one and only date..all she talked about was all the guys that tried to get a home run with her...i rmember i picked her up and their was no electricity in her house and she had to get dressed in the dark..well, we got to the dance late..as there was a storm and later in the dance a girl told my date that she had her dress on backwards..well, we live in a small village/town and it got all over town..but nothing happened as i did not do anything..i was a "wet blanket" or a "goody goody two shoes"...and this was when i was a freshman at a local college..lol..my how things have changed now....even the terms are not the same..so is there still a "goody goody two shoes" or a "wet blanket"..i was no naive..lol..but later i learned the hard way..no pun intended.
