Do you think some people live online? Ok the reason why I ask this is because I have some friends online that never log off.. And if they do it's for like 2 seconds and they are back online again.. Do you think some of these people that do this doesn't have anything better to do than chat all day and all night long? What do you think?

I never log off, so it looks like I am here 24/7. Lately though I have been spending alot of time here at Mylot. I do check other stuff out online, but the majority of the time I am reading and responding. I don't want to live online but lately it seems to be where I am the most. I have been known to be on here upwards of 12 hours. I do take breaks and let the dogs out. I do get in a meal or two, and of course the occasional bathroom break..LOL

I never used to log off but i did turn off my messengers so people know i'm not around, but for being online i'd just stay connected sense I do have DSL connection. I do keep alot of windows open and surf but I know I can't sit for a long time. At least ya take breaks so your eyes don't hurt or get headaches I know I used to get those too..

I hear you there, although it's hard to find a job these days for real nice money.. My town their is nothing I would have to travel 45 miles to the nearest job.. I think I would be paying more for gas than really make anything.. Plus have to get someone to watch my son during my work time I wouldn't make anything so I personally think it's best to stay home.

My hip gets sore after awhile, and sometimes my leg goes to sleep and sometimes I am like, "Hello, go do something different." LOL Being at home can sometimes be boring. My youngest is 19 so he doing his own thing. My husband is on his computer reading stories that other people send him to comment on. Now all I have to do is find something on this internet to make some real money and I wouldn't be bored. LOL

I always have the computer on and the internet up but I'm not always sitting at the computer. I especially do this with Mylot. I'll post a couple of responses then go and do some stuff around the house, check back in an hour or so later, do a couple more and just sorta follow that routine all day. I couldn't imagine just sitting her for like 12 or 14 hours a day though...I'd end up bleeding through the eyes

isn't that the truth, It makes me wonder though. I mean with yahoo you can tell if they are there or away cause they do have to auto idle button. but other messenger don't have that.. Thanks for your reply!

Well I do, lol. For the summer anyway. I don't watch TV so I just leave my puter on and when I take a break or nothing else to do, I set down and go over posts or look something up. So it seems like I am on the net all day. Now school is starting up that will slow down a bit for me cause I will be there most of the time and then when I get home I will have to do my chores, help kids with home work and cook.

Well i don't think they can stay awake 24hours being online and they have nothing to do more but to chat only. I think, it's just the computer itself that never log off. They just don't turn off their computer that's why they are still online whenever you open you messenger and see them online but actually, they are not really there, and perhaps they were sleeping or doing something more like taking a bath, eating and even sleeping. personally, i can stay in front of my computer and do chatting and surfing for about 12hours and that is maximum. Like no taking bath yet, having my lunch and dinner in my room while staying in front of my pc. that's how addicted i am. Have a nice day ahead from KiKo.

Well it's not always the case that they are there. I have my computer on 24/7 because I never switch it off, or the internet, but just because I'm logged in all the time, doesn't actually mean I am there, half the time I am either asleep or out. But in other cases I'm sure there are people with no lives who do actually stay on-line and at the computer all the time.

But yeah I have two different messengers and these are the people that are always on.. and your probley right they probley do, do other things than sit there all day long.. Thanks for your reply and have a great day!

We don't have to do with it...maybe they really love to chat the whole day. LOL They are enjoying it. I have friends like that too. MOst of them don't get any work too and some are plain housewife. They just leave their pc open while doin' something and then back to chat again. :)

Hi, I probably fit into that category! :) I do think being online can be quite addictive. I know that I come on quite often and I know a lot of my friends do as well. I don't think it has to do with lack of other things to do, actually I come online at quite crazy hours and basically try to get on whenever I get a spare moment. :) cheers,
