Ever the same

I have observed that people like to group and pigeon hole just about every thing and everyone. "She's a...", ""He's one of those..." HELLO!Just as there are as many different types of people who do whatever you do for a living, no one group of anythings can be painted with a broad brush stroke. Labels serve to segregate people and cause clannish behaviors and anti-social thinking. When people begin thinking in an "Us versus them." mentality they limit thenmselves from experiences and friendships and personal developement of new social skills. They also limit themselves to bland boring lives of sameness. When you strip away the labels and stereotypes and get to know people though, you tend to find commonalities with everyone that you take the time to really talk to. People are so busy in their lives that they feel that they don't have time for learning new things. However this is the same old thing because beneath the surface we are all one and the same...Peopl, with the same fears and needs and feelings, cares, worries, and responsibilities. We are all one in the same at the bottom of it all.
