Neighbors Gone

That is great Gabs that you now get some peace and quiet. Be sure to enjoy it as much as you can hun because as you said you never know what the new neighbours will be like!

Good I am glad they are gone. It saves you a lot of trouble trying to get them to stop being ignorant. I really hope you get better neighbors this time.

well you know if they were that horrible, odds are the new ones will be better ut better doesnt mean "perfect " neighbors ... they might just be " less worse "!! LOL Anyway I wish you all the best with your new neighbors ... and at least for now you got noone ... lol so enjoy while it lasts!!! ;-)

Well, Praise the Lord and I will certainly look forward to your new neighbors being more thoughtful and considerate of others.... Personally except for all the 'room mates' I am truely enjoying life in the country - peace and quiet, I love it.

Lucky you, my neighbors from Hell still live next to me. The one's who park their cars all over the place and who seem to think they own the place that we live in. They are just renters, yet they think they can do whatever they want. Idiots.

Good riddance to bad rubbish! That's the trouble with neighbours you can't choose them! Fingers crossed that the next lot that move in will be quiet as doormice! I've had my fair share of noisy, inconsiderate neighbours, I've been lucky here, typical as I won't be here for much longer. Enjoy the peace my dear friend and may it last xxxx

You mentioned last week that you thought they might be moving. Maybe you will have some peace and quiet for awhile. With any luck you will have some nice quiet older person move in upstairs, someone who will keep rational hours and do any loud stuff at a decent hour. We will keep our fingers crossed for you, okay?

At least you have some days of peace before the new neighbors moved in. lol. Just pray that the new neighbours will be better. Think good and the good will come. The mind has magical powers. It grants you your wishes, especially the bad ones :p

I must have missed your discussion about your "lovely: neighbors...what the heck were they doing moving furniture in the night for anyway...I've had a lot of weird neighbors....let me see, I had one guy underneath me who was a weirdo...hated everyone and must have had a paranoia complex...he didn't like anyone standing out in front of the building as he thought it was loitering...sure...a person from the building waiting for a cab is loitering...then another nutcase moved in..LOL...she had "sensitive" ears...and went to bed early..well it wasn't like my then living mother and I were having wild parties...but she would start banging up at us if we were just walking in our own living room...made me want to get a pogo stick and hop on it...LOL...then someone else moved in and I don't know what they used to cook but it smelt like a swamp...ah, neighbors..ain't they grand!

That is great news for you. There is nothing worse than neighbors making trouble all the time. Lets just hope and pray that the new neighbors are better...adding you to my prayer list..done..good luck..enjoy the peace while you can.

You'll probably end up with a family of seven or something, knowing your luck. But, maybe you'll have moved on yourself by then, my friend. Fate deals a funny hand, huh? Love and hugs. xxx

I am so happy for you, I know exactly what you were going through. My neighbour was the same, he used to blast his music so loud, although I must say it ended quite sadly for him. I knew he had mental health problems and he had been sectioned, but I didn't realise how bad he was. When I was on study leave I kept hearing shouting and crying and at first I didn't know where it was coming from, but it was very disturbing. It turned out to be this man and after a few days I got worried for him as obviously his social worker had not been to see him. I called social services and told them what I could hear. At first they could not find him as living at the address and I was told I should call the police rather than inform them. Luckily in the end they found his name and said they would pass on the information. Since then I haven't heard anymore, so I hope he has got the help he needs. So much for care in the community. I hope you have very quiet neighbours next Gabs, preferably ones that walk on their hands!!LOL

LOL Gabes, Dont think like that. Your luck will be good and you will get wonderful neighbors. They will be quiet and you wont even know they are there. Now dont you feel better already?? How can someone not pay rent for 5 months and still be there? That is along time to go without paying rent.

I'm glad to know you are getting some peace. Lousy neighbor can make life miserable. We will be keeping fingers crossed that the new ones are much better.
