Which could you live without? TV or internet?

I realized that I would rather have the internet than TV. I couldn't believe it when I realized that, I really like TV. BUT, if I had to pick one, it would be the internet. Who would have thought ten years ago a choice like that would ever come up.

That's easy to answer... With Internet you even see TV without a TV set at various free sites, like: http://www.freetv.com.br/ - in Brazilian Portuguese; http://www.freetvonline.com/ - in English; And many more, Goggle is your friend!

Right at this moment, I think I can do without my TV, but if they raise my internet fees much more, then I would go without the internet. I often use my internet connection to watch TV. And, I also get most of my news from the internet, too. I think the general direction that the internet is going towards is to merge with TV. A lot of computers have TV tuners already inside them. Things are changing really fast in regards to broadband.

I agree completely, because there is just so much more that you can do on the internet, and it is interactive, and you can control what you do with it or on it. I will often have TV on and listen to it while I am here on myLot. Mostly, though, I do not care for the television that much.

I would have to pick the Internet as I have done so in the pass due to the bills and funds being low. It was the satelite or the internet you know who WON the INTENET. I can see what happen on in the news on the internet and anything else in that case. INTERNET WINS HANDS DOWN

LOL I don't like the thought of doing without either but if forced I would take internet any day - except for old movies I can get everything else that's worth watching on the internet anyways. I do tend to do both at the same time though - laptop on the arm of my recliner and screen in direct line with the tv so I can see both at the same time when I want.

I really don't watch that much TV anyway...except maybe a bit while I eat dinner, and then before I go to bed, but then usually to pop in one of my DVD movies--since I no longer have cable, regular TV is BORING! So Internet it is...hey if anything, could even playback my DVD movies on my computer..so definitely couldn't live without my computer & internet!

Hi there. I could easily give up the TV and Internet, but out of the two the internet is a little hard because it is also a means of communication and alot of other things that Ive recently become temporarily attached too..

I would rather have the internet. I can always watch tv over the net. I know it is cheating on the answer to your question, but I can get every channel over the internet that I would watch on tv. The best thing is it is free.

My goodness*** I have gone long times without both! At one point even, I had a computor in my house that didn't work, and at the same time had a T.V but noo cable. ugh! lol though it's not that bad, just keep busy and listen to tunes!! The radio is always free so that rocks*

Oh man that's a toughy. I'd probably rather have Internet just because, well one it's cheaper, two I get to socialize, and three I need it for my college courses. TV is pretty awesome too though, I guess I could easily replace it with movies and dvds though.
