Are you a night owl or an early bird?

I found that I think the best at night. I like getting things done during the day but waking up is a challenge for me. For some reason, I just seem to do better at night. Being a night owl makes it harder some days. But, I'd much rather work at night than during the day. Are you a night owl or an early bird? Do you like the one that you are or are you trying to change it?

I am very much a night owl. Though I am not as much as I used to be, I'd rather go to bed late at night then go to bed early at night. And I'd much rather sleep until I wanted to get up then having to get up early or even at a set time. I for the most part wouldn't change how I am on that. But it would be nice when I do have to get up I'd be okay with it. But I am very grouchy when I have to get up early. lol

Hi there. I think Im a bit of both, as I wake up early and also get to bed kind of late too... Yes I think I would fit into being the night owl and the early bird...

Depending on my mood and schedule, sometimes I can be both. When I am under a lot of stress, I tend to stay up at night. When everything in my life is calm, I tend to wake up fairly early.

I am a night owl. It is due to the fact that the early morning sun tends to trigger more migraines than later in the day. So I prefer to sleep though the worst time of the day for me.

I am an early bird, I like to get up early and get things done and go to bed early and watch some tv before I go to sleep! I am happy to have it this way, I know it doesnt suit alot of people but I am happy to do it this way. My daughter plays a big part in why I get up early and go to bed early because she does the same thing and I need to get up when she gets up in the morning

I'm definitely an owl. I always have been, even as a child. If I'm working on something and time slips by, it can easily be 3am before I start thinking I'd better get to bed. I don't always get 8 hours of sleep, sometimes it's only 5. I've tried to change into an early bird, but it just isn't in my genes (or my spirit.)

I'm much more of a night owl. I don't even fully wake up until about 7:00pm, haha! I just like the feel of nightime better. The stars are out, it's cooler but not too cold...there's more to do. But now that I'm a mom I have to do both! I love to stay up late and can't even fall asleep before 11pm but I still have to get up super early in order to shower and get ready before my son wakes up. I will have my cup of coffee first though, I must!!

I used to be a night owl. But due to work, I've become an early bird. Funny though, it seems I lack sleep now, because I feel I'm both. I sleep late and wake up early. Hope that doesn't do me any harm in the long run. =)

I have always been a night owl, even before I was in school. I have actually lost jobs because I couldn't get out of bed in the morning, lol. I've heard that it's not normal to be like that, and it can shorten your life span. But I have seen many people live to 90's and beyond who have had this type of sleep/wake pattern their entire lives (13 years as a CNA in nursing homes). I think it's trying to change your schedule that shortens lifespans. I also think us night owls are generally happier and more relaxed than those uptight, high strung people who try to wake up before their bodies are ready. I don't use an alarm clock, and I wake up well rested, sometimes with just a few hours of sleep. I normally go to bed about 3am after getting off work around midnight, and wake up around 9-10am.

i'm a night owl. hehe. i have no problem staying up late at night. most people think that's the reason why i find it hard to wake up early, but even if i go to bed early, i still can't wake up early. so, i'd rather stay up late, it's just the same. and i get to finish more work. but right now i'm trying to change that, be a "regular" person. hehehe i have classes in the morning. hehe

I wish I could be more of a morning person, but I'm a night person. I used to get up early in the morning, like 4 or 5 hours before I needed to, but now I just can't do it, and it's sad because I'm almost 22.
