I have heard from people saying that, birds have the freedom to fly and they should not be put in cages and sold to public, but my mother wants to have a parakeet to have as a pet, and she says to me that there is nothing wrong, but i am seriously thinking about the fact that should i buy it or not, and she also says that generally, people who sell birds clip there feathers so that they are unable to fly, i am also believer of god and i feel its a sin, whats your opinion? please advice me as to what i should do and what you would do if you come across such a situation in your life?

I think it depends, If you will treat it in a nice way is not a sin but if you just buy it and not taking care of it that is not nice.

Personally I don't like to see birds in a small cage I think they should be free to fly even if in a large avery is not so bad plus I don't like to see any species without a partner or friendof its own kind, as we wouldn't like to be on our own with out our family or friends...
