Well yeah, everyone surfs the internet. It can do really a lot of helpful stuffs. It is undeniable that people are getting more and more dependent to the internet. I'm a student. As for me, I don't think I can manage doing any research for homeworks without the internet. Library, yeah, they helped. Quite useful, but somehow internet is a lot better. Search engines provides you a lot of results. Even though sometimes the results are not connected at all, web browsers and text editors has the "find" function that helps you locate a certain word of phrase in an extremely long document. It is something that you can never do with real book or printed document. Saves a lot of time. Apart from that, surfing the internet is a lot of fun. It enables you to read news and keep in touch with the other parts of the world. Keep yourself updated with the newest information on your field of interest. Plus there are a lot of forums available on the internet. I'm not really a forummer, but there are certain forums that I do enjoy a lot. They are good ways of spending my free time. Internet keeps me entertained. Disadvantages.. as always, beware of the viruses, spyware, tracker, and stuffs. They're everywhere. Make sure your PC is protected or try your best not to land yourself in dangerous websites which are full of viruses. Happy surfing!!

I feel there are many advantages of surfing the net. One can surf the net to find relevant information one is looking for using search engines, then on can surf nice websites, blogs and through social networking make friends or get to meet old friends. One can surf for traffic credits that allows one to showone's site on traffic exchanges. But if one is aimlessly surfing then one can waste time and effort and gamble with money which is not helpful.

One of the advantages of internet is that we can find information easily, quickly and massively. If we want to make a class presentation for tomorrow's morning we could still prepare it from scratch the night before by browsing through the net. The disadvantage of internet is that they are many scam sites. Many paying sites claimed that they do pay, but actually they didn't. Some other sites took advantage by asking a prepaid for a product they are selling but after receiving money, they didn't deliver anything. Internet actually teaches us to be responsible to ourselves. We have brains, so we have to use it wisely and make decisions on what to believe and what not to.
