Is this the latest type of newbies. No face, either 107 or 14 years old, sexless, come from noplace? Why does myLot let there types of potential users sign up. Surely myLot does not need to add to it's population with these type members? Your opinion? http://www.mylot.com/624888427 http://www.mylot.com/727949578

I'm guessing in it is the new age of newbiedom. I believe it all started when social networking started to spring up like wildfire across the net. You will find a lot of profiles like that on sites such as Myspace, Friendster, Hi5, and Face Book. I tend to ignore them and go about my business.

I did not stay at yahoo 360 for more than a day either.

Oh yeah I had forgotten about the fabled Yahoo 360. But that is what is to be expected when one doesn't visit a site for many years. The newness of that site wore off the very first day I was there. So I wasn't all that impressed with Yahoo 360 to begin with.

Yahoo 360 has tons of faceless, genderless, non-human (I think) members that I just ignore as well unless they contact me and then I choose sparingly. Trusting everyone is no longer my cue in life . . .

I have not run across those, or I would have reported them. There is a whole flock of people, I decline to say from where, but would tell you in a personal message. Many of them are 60, or 77 years old. They have enough cars, with problems, to open a used car lot. They are men in one discussion, women in the next, have babies, and twenty year olds, but have no clue about parenting. They also have many, many pets, all of them ill or vicious. We have to help, by reporting what we see. I do not even remember the names, as they usually have a few letters combined with numbers.

They should be a bit more vigilent, Its wrong for this to happen, and these are the sorts of idiots that start discussions with one word and just are really pathetic...And they ruin it for everyone. Obviously they are scammers or cheaters...

Are they the only people in their area or if they put down the name of their country, everyone will say, 'aH! Those are the ones making trouble!" Hmm. maybe they are Martians. Yes, the only Martians on myLot, and if they put their photos, the gray skin or large slanted eyes will give them away. Second guess is that they may be under the age Mylot allows.

Could be. One give "it's" age as 14 and had responded to a discussion.

Makes you think they are here for other reasons than what we are here for, I would definately tend to distrust these type of members.

Me too. It was because of a discussion that Jimbo posted that brought me to one of their profiles.

They are amongst the many who join this community only to post jibberish. I do not read their material.

even i have been noticing this lately. i came back after a break and today i find that the NEW USER DISCUSSIONS are full of weird numbers like that with no specifications in their profile pages!! i guess, a single usr is having more than 2-3 accounts and they start almost the same discussions!! this is strange!! i feel, mylot, should have a more rigid profile specifications and rather than concentrating into quantity should priortise quality. thanx.

Yes, I see what you mean, after viewing them both. One of them started an odd discussion. If mY Lot admin don't have time to go through users, then maybe they should employ someone who can delete silly profiles like this. They have enough time to delete discussions.

You're right they certainly have no problem with discussions.

This is becoming quite ridiculous. We the dedicated members don't need or deserve this. It should not be allowed to happen.

these are low esteem persons. they are ashame of who they are so they hide themselves in public. some people just have low opinion of themselves and go through life thinking they are nothing which eventually becomes them. anonymity of the internet is the holy grail for them. pity.
