Family Reunions

My family gets together every 2 years and I look forward to it. We are so close, members come from all over the US. The children have a blast, the old folk also have a ball. We make a long weekend of it and in the off seasons we will start going on cruises together.
I could never get too much of being with my family.
Are family runions rare are is it just my imagination, does your family have reunions? Tell us about them.

Hi missunder! I am not sure if it is rare because I really am not sure of the practices of other people in differnet cultures. However, in my country family reunions are a common thing. Just for example, our family reunions are held once a year during the first week of January, at my husband's side of the family we have another reuinion there being hed every first week of april and we also attend reunions of my grandmother side of the family. We really attend these reunions so we can always be in touch of relatives. We're always are looking forward to them because we have fun and it brings all of us closer.

faith210, that's good to hear. Most people I talk to seem surprised that we have reunions, they say they wish their family had them.
I am glad to hear other families enjoy them as much as mine
