Which pregnancy test did you use?

It's weird that everyone seems to be checking for pregnancy within a few days :) I was about 5 weeks before i even thought to check (my period has never been regular) so i just did the usual test with the lines - up popped 2 lines obvious as always :) It's funny the other person here would take 5 tests, if it says yes then you're pregnant, if it says no, there's still a chance you're pregnant! So if it says yes, a 2nd is ok but 5? wow!!! I did 1 in the afternoon & another the following morning & both read the 2 positive lines so off to the Dr i went!

With my son I actually took 5 tests because I kept not believing them. LOL Three of the tests were dollar store cheapies, and the other two were the digital kinds. I love the digital ones! It's neat to see the words on the display, and not have to doubt and wonder about the lines. I believe my digitals were both Clear Blue Easy also! Congrats on your pregnancy!

I have used many brands but usually EPT. When I test on Saturday I'll be using a First Response cause I have one left after a 2 pack I bought after a while.

im WAY to cheap to buy an expensive brand most of them work just as good as the other. ive always wanted to used to digatal ones, but they are so expensive, but it would be nice to see a clear answer! congrats on your pregnancy!

Last weekend I actually used 5 test (3 different brands). The first and third were the $4 test from the dollar store, the 2nd was the $1 test from the dollar store, and the last 2 were First Response (2-pack from Wal-Mart & always reliable in the past). Well, all but the $1 test came up with very faint positive results, so I went to the Dr to get a blood test. The did another urine test first, which came up positive. And the blood test was also positive, with very low hcg levels, so they are guessing that I am just barely pregnant. I can't say that I was late, because I'm not regular (still nursing my 15 month old). And I don't know what prompted me to even do a test, other than the fact that I do them occasionally because of my irregularity and because I take coumadin (did take, now I've switched to lovenox) because of a pulmonary embolism after Sofie was born last year. Ok, I got way off subject. Anyway, I've tried other brands with my other pregnancies, and First Response was always the first to show (until this time, lol, but that's because there isn't a WalMart for 32 miles and I was impatient).

Congrats of your positive pregnancy test. I actually went to the dollar store and bought two tests. I took the test and it was positive. Worked the same as the expensive brands.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. A new baby how fun and exciting- My daughter is 10 years old- I know I used the one with the plus or minus- Heck if I can remember the name- They have a new one that states pregnant or not pregnant- how cool is that!

I have always used the tests from the dollar store or a store brand test and they have worked well.

I figured out I was pregnant about a week after I got there, but the test that day said no (those two were Walgreens brand). So I waited 3 weeks and retested with two clear blue tests and they both said yes. I showed everybody, lol. Best and worst day of my life. Blessed Be
