after promising myself for the past weeks to jog or walk in the morning, i finally put that promise into reality. for the past three days, i had been jogging or walking for 30 minutes in the morning. then, i do some more tummy exercises at home for another 30 minutes. i really feel a lot better. exercise to help us improve our health. so, what about you? still waiting for exercise to find time for you or are you planning to look for some time to exercise? happy myLotting! anne

oh I do agree with you...running in the early morning is wonderful..I love it.Unfortunately when I am at Rome I don't have time for it because I am used to getting up very early in order to arrive at work on time but..now that I am moving towards our house on the sea...oh I will start my day running along the sea...mmm I cannot wait..of course when I am in Rome I regularly go to the gym and I go out for a run as soon as I can..usually late in the evening..physical exercise is the best thing to relax after a bad or long day at work because you do something good for your health and for your mood, too!!!!

Well, I have Rhuemetoid Arthritis, so that makes it hard for me to be able to walk around much, but I do try and get out when I have Good days. What I try to do on the days I feel up to it, is walk around like WalMart and such to get my exercise that way, and am always pushing a shopping cart to where I have support if I start hurting too much.

sorry to hear about your arthritis. my mom has it, too and so, it makes her not go jogging or walking a lot. but like you, she do walk whenever she gets an opportunity to do so. anne

yup. one needs to drag and push himself into doing some exercises. we are usually lazy in the morning. but once we've tried it and make it into a habit, we feel wonderful after exercising. anne

I might try to do some biking tomorrow. i have been a homebuddy for a week now and its getting its toll on my energy. I feel sleepy all the time and tired. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

since i was a kid, i had been trained by my mom to wake up early in the morning. that's how most kids in the philippines are trained. and i am lucky to have it as a habit and make use of it. as for you, maybe start by not thinking that you are lazy because if you always think you are, you will always be. think positively and start waking up earlier. soon, you will be used to it. anne

Oh wow Anne, it's great to hear that you have finally make use of your plan to exercise. I'm sure you're enjoying the good sweat. I am contemplating to try on some pilates exercises. I don't like the fast one like aerobics and hated lifting weights more. I prefer the slow one and I heard pilates is excellent in making your body more flexible and leaner. Albeit I don't have any weight issues but I like to get more healthy and "younger" lol! Way to go Anne and keep up the good work. "thumb up"

good toknow you don't have weight issues. and even if you do, it's not about losing weight and all. it's about feeling good about yourself. and you should ofcourse start with slow and light exercises. and soon, from there, your body will look for something faster. do it bit by bit. anne

Woh! that is great. I tried to do it but never did I get started and if I did I tend to stop after a few days. There are several reasons, some lame. I gathe I lack the personal decipline. Do not stop your schedule and keep going. Good luck and keep fit. Hurray

Yeah, it really takes effort and discipline to exercise every morning for an hour. Keep the momentum going. You have my mental support :) Just to share how I keep myself going when I went for morning exercise daily. That was 7 years ago. I used to accompany my mother for her morning walk as part of her rehabiliation exercise. Gradually, I escalate from walking to jogging while keeping her in tab. Initially, it becomes a chore to jog every morning. Subsequently, I changed my routine. At times, it was stretching, at times walk and jog, at times jog, at times walk. Now when I am "off duty" as my mother does it herself, the routine becomes 3 times a weeks. I become lazier and lazier and now it was only on Sundays. At times, Saturday if I am not working. I just hope I can stick to my weekend routines.

You go girl!! That is great. I can usually find sometime to fit in exercise but it is when I get it in the morning that I feel the best. It sets the tone for my entire day and I love it. It is so easy for me to get out of the morning exercise habit when winter rolls around and it would feel so great to stay under the covers for just a few more minutes.

Yes, I was just like you. Recently my friend and I have been scheduling walks a few times a week. Not only is it good excersise ...it is time with a good friend. On rainy days we do some pilates or yoga. It is not a chore...it is something we both look forward to each day and wonder why we didn't start this regime much earlier. once you make it a habit...it is hard to stop.

true. i felt a bit lazy today actually. but i still had my walk. after doing it for some days, i felt like my body wants it already and i feel guilty and incomplete if i won't do it for a day. after all, it's just 30 minutes and i'll be the one benefitting from it. good for you. it's one way you can spend good times with your friend. keep it up! anne

I feel so lazy to have an exercise but I still keep motivating my self to do it because I really need it and I also need to lost some body fats. I install one application on my phone and that application helps me to motivate my self to have an exercise so now, every day i'm having one to two hours of exercise. With exercise I feel much better and my back pain and stomach pain are gone because of exercise.

I plan to return to Curves to exercise. My body is much stronger now. The work I do is physical and I have gained muscle as a result. I also have lost a few pounds. Going to Curves again will boost my energy levels even more. I can't wait to start. But, I have to wait for the funds to become available. My bills come first.

I walk everywhere. So I think I do my daily share, I love walking instead of catching the bus etc. It's much nicer to take some fresh air in, but I haven't been jogging for awhile. ~Joey

Hello anne!(",) Congratulations for keeping your promise to your self. Good for you! It's really important to exercise daily to stay fit and active. Me? I'm having my exercise but I don't jog as of now because I have a very early duty but I do stretch and dance to stay fit. Have a great time exercising!(",)

Good for you, I have been promising myself that I will start tomorrow but that tomorrow never comes. Although I did walk for 5 mins yesterday. The main thing in exercise is to maintain continuity. Lets see how long my spree lasts.

My family and I just started walking 3 nights ago. It's something we did when I was pregnant with my middle son. Now all 5 of us walk. The littlest one is in a stroller, and we take our 3 labs with us. I have to say that I've felt much better the last couple of days. Seems like I have more energy. Truly amazing! Congratulations on your new exercise program. Keep up the good work, and post us with any updates or results.
