Dear RobinJ, I hate the coworker who makes complaint against the coworker to curry favour with the boss. I had a female coworker, by making complaining against the good workers without any valid reason, she made lot of good coworker to resign from their job. Ultimately she had to leave the company because the new manager never entertained her complaint but on the other hand he made her to resign from the job. That day she was weeping. She knew that she would not get employment like her present salary and perks. I was Chief Accountant of that organisation and when she came to collect her final settlement, she started telling me that she was the good person and without any valid reason she was being sackeed. I just laughed and said you were being paid in your own coin.

Hi Navtech. I have to wonder where she learned about using this sort of bad tactics. She never seemed to understand what she was doing was wrong. She was forced to resign her job and still did not get the message. How truly sad for her, but even more so for the people that she talked against and made them loose theirs. You were right she was paid in her own coin. But I wonder if she understands it? I would love to know. excellent discussion thanks.

The thing that annoys me the most and which caused me to have a mental breakdown at work was the bullying! You think that bullying only happens at school? Wrong it's just as prevalent in the workplace too! It's horrible how adults can bully others, and yes it's through gossip as well, as if they haven't got anything to do, most of them lead empty lives and enjoy inflicting pain and suffering on others.

Robyn, I agree with you completely - I hate all the gossiping that goes on at work, and if you are stuck in a large office with a lot of other people, there isn't a lot you can do about it. I tried not to get involved by continuing to work, and was treated as a "snob" by some of my colleagues.
