The music is highly personal and evolves with the musician. Touring is, however, something that is difficult to commit to. Playing festivals, one has the luxury of staying in one place and interacting in a pleasant setting with the other musicians whilst the organizers arrange all the necessary logistics of the concerts. The Punkt Festival in Norway with its side installation was exactly this type of opportunity. Having experienced such a high from having the best of everything for 4 days, the next logical direction would have been a European Tour. Alas, reality burst that bubble. Tight turn around times, security complications, crew and transportation arrangements for a person who has never been fond of touring took its toll. The Implausible Beauty tour was shelved indefinitely. Although fans were/are disappointed, one can only have concluded the same outcome by stepping back from the emotion of the tour announcement(and its genesis)by looking at things logically.
