How can people be so cruel ??

It's absolutely disgusting. People who can be this cruel to animals obviously have no respect for life at all. It's a total act of cowardice as I believe people like this would never confront someone or something that would take them on for their outrageous and misguided views. I share your horror!

OMG! that is horrible! i hope they find who did this..they are investigating right? and isnt the Peregrine Falcon on the endangered species list? or threatened species list? you ask how can ppl do this kind of thing?..i dont know..other than to say..humans are truly the "monsters" of life on this planet.

Well you know as well as I do People today do not care about Animals anymore which is sad but so true the love for Animals is dying very fast which makes me sad really sad as so much cruelty is going on now and not just by Kids also by Adults I wish they would strengthen the Law on Animal protection I really do

Since moving here Wee my eyes have been opened to the cruelty animals live with...or don't live with. I'm disgusted and ashamed and what amazes me is even those that say they care, neglect their animals, fail to feed them or exercise them or let them off their chains. Just the other day as I was coming home from the shops, a car overtook me and zoomed away. A short time later I came upon a young roo in the middle of the road with either it's hips or back broken. There was no blood and he could move but had to drag his rear half. I rushed home after talking gently to him (a bit silly, I know) and got my friend to go out and move him off the road. But he went somewhere else first and when he got to him someone had run over him and left a bloody mess. What's wrong with people who think it's ok or it doesn't matter, to do these things to poor defenceless animals? There are other stories I could tell, things I have witnessed but it doesn't change anything and it's just too upsetting.

People are very mean. People who cannot spare little babies (of animals for that matter), are not worth having a life near nature. We must leave them in the Gobi desert, left at the mercy of Birds of prey. I hope the Government carries an investigation on this action, n the offenders are tracked down , n severely punished.

i think that peopple are just acting plum crazy. now sometimes things happen. i really think that television and the news really blow things up. this could have been a mistake, but this is sad though...............

People are idiots, sick minded, or they have nothing better to do than to make other people's lives miserable. I feel pity for people who think that it is fun to kill innocent creatures. They need better hobbies.

Some people have no conscious dear friend, to them birds, animals are just there to be killed, beaten and tortured, they don't value animals and their beauty. It is a sick society we live in and it gets worse. It never used to be like this. There is also no strong deterrant if these 'so called people' are caught either xxx

I would have thought that the Peregrine Falcon is a protected species, and what these horrible people have done is against the law. I reiterate your question... how can people be so cruel and thoughtless? How would they like it if the same was administered to their children? I know farmers have had a hard time of it lately, what with BSE and Bird Flu, etc, but there is absolutely no excuse for using an illegal pesticide, whatever the situation, and I hope they receive harsh punishment for what they have done. My belief is that everything has a spirit, and I also believe in the law of three, so this person is asking for a deal of trouble in my mind, and surely deserve whatever is coming to them. It beats me why people are so cruel, and even more so when it concerns young animals or birds. Some people just dont have a conscience to be able to do this sort of thing, and I feel I would want to give them the same treatment they dish out - see how they like it.

It is unfortunate. The landownwers may not have meant to do this. There are mant pesticides and herbicides that are lethal tro bird but are still being used in many countries. I do not know what your enviro laws are so I don't know what to say. This is one of the reasons that it is so impooertant for us all not to use anything that can hurt our Mother Earth. yes,people are so cruel.but these are just a small part of human being.majority of people is kind and friendly.you just see so small part of the world.in fact ,there are many beautiful things in our life.don't looking at the world partly .we should in high sight.
