If you are new to Linux go for Ubuntu, as I have heard Ubuntu is the most user friendly Linux released. I have never used Ububtu, but tried opensuse, fedora and now I am using Centos which is mainly used as servers but I am just using it to see how it works a desktop and it's not bad but Opensuse desktop is better .. Try Ububtu, shift to Linux you want be disappointed ....

I have Ubuntu, but I am not a good user since I use Windows most of the time. Too bad Linux is not compatible with may software or vice versa.

Fedora Core is the best of all these versions and it has all the features in it ... I am saying this because i have worked on all the three versions of Linux for some while ... Fedora is the best in linux and most secure

I'm currently using Ubuntu Feisty and its really cool. It loads more rapidly compared to the others and is somewhat more user-friendly.
