whats the worst hair service you ever received

Oh, I've had a really bad experience from a hair salon as well not too long ago. This was a cheap salon in my subdivision where I live. It was several months back, that I was at a salon intending only to get a haircut. But the person who was doing my cut suggested that I try their straightening and that that theirs are really of good quality, blah, blah, blah. So, I thought to myself, oh what the heck, I guess the person would actually make adjustments to try to impress me by just the way they are talking. So I went for it. Only to find out when in the later part that my hair on the nape was cut short and what was left of it were about two and a half inches short. I have really long hair! The chemicals of the straightening damaged my hair got cutt off! I was mortified. After two days I found out the person who did my hair got fired.

eheh it can happen as usual because in many cases hair cutters do whatever thy want when you come to cut your hair..any way some years ago i come to an hair dresser too..to cut my hair surely he did not a good work because he cu my hair too much short and the cut wa not perferct as well such as i had a part bit longer than others and some too much short so he did a very bad job!! surely he didn't refund nothing..as in your story..just saying that 'i understood as so'...heeheh this har dresser a bit crazy!!:)

I went to a hair salon over forty years ago on Hastings or around that area -it was in the East End, I just wanted a trim, you know just even out the ends, but do you know what she did, she cut it so short, I felt as if I was a cancer patient. I could not even curl it, not even with pins. I went there specifically because at that time home perms did not work on me, they made my hair frizzy. I never went there again, and since then, I have been wary of hair salons.

Hi Hun! I had to find out the hard way that my hair doesn't take perms. One year a hairstylist wanted to perm my hair and Christmas was coming up, I wanted something different, so I figured sure why not and I'd pay for it with Christmas money. As the perm rods were coming out so were clumps of hair! Needless to say I had to go REAL short, and I haven't had a perm since! My hair was to the middle of my back, but when it was all said and done it was to the middle of my cheeks! Was not happy! That was actually what inspired me to go to Hair Styling College, I graduated at the top of my class, and went on to work in Salons after that.

I can't say I've had a bad haircut, except that I once had my friend cut my hair and it came out a little crooked. The worst experiences I've had in a salon start with hairdressers arguing with me. My hair was about 5 inches past my shoulders, and I wanted layers around my face and the back cut a few inches. The hairdresser kept arguing with me that it wouldn't look right and that she had to cut my hair above my shoulders for it to look right. When it was done the way I wanted, it looked fine. Another time my hair was really long and I wanted it cut to my chin and I got "are you sure?" over and over again. In the end the woman asked "well what does your husband think about you cutting your hair that short?" It irked the hell out of me. Then, I had a hair dying incident... My sister gave me 2 gift certificates for the salon that she went to, to get my hair dyed and I went blond because she begged me to. 6 weeks later I went to use the second certificate to have the roots done and all that. Well, my hair grows pretty fast when it's short, so the roots were an inch and a half long. When they were done, you could see the line where the roots were. I had to go back 2 weeks later to have it redone. I told them if they couldn't make it an even blonde, to do red. I've been red ever since.

Oh my God, that was really terrible experience. I would probably hurt the girl. No I mean I am really senstitive about my hair. But I am glad they at least admit their mistake and offer you something. I had few of the bad experiences when i was kid.My mother always wanted for me short hair and then kids make laugh of me, becuase I look like Elvis Presley all the time or just stupid. Our hair dresser was a man hair dresser , but she was doing my mum hair too, becuase she had short hair. I remember one year I tell my mum that i am old enough to have hair I want and I would let it grow long. But of course she broke her promise and I was again looking as elivs and kids have fun again from me. No wonder no guy look at me, becuase I was looking so terrible. But I have to tell you I make a shock to hair dresser too. I was in germany and I went to this new hair salon to cut my hair and style them a little bit. In this time I was having a hair extension with clips, you out in your hair and when you go sleep you take it off. So i come there and i tell the girl what cut i want and tell her I have to put my extension off, before she would cut it. She doesn't know what i mean, so I show her and she was staring at me like crazy. LoL She make good job with my hair, but still didn't understand how all this extesnion work. i was laughing so much at her on my way home. You should see her face, when i pull this hair off.
