Do you wear flip-flops in the tub?

My three year old has the funniest habit of wearing her green flip-flops (beach sandals) in the tub. She claims that she must do so or else she would slip down. I can't blame her for good common-sense. But, I've always thought it was a funny thing to do! This morning as I was cleaning out the tub filled with left over soap bubbles, kiddie toys and those imfamous green flip-flops, I was wondering to myself if perhaps she is really onto something. Maybe other people wear flip-flops in the privacy of their own shower or bathroom. Maybe? So, how about you? Have you ever worn flip-flops or beach sandals in the tub? Have your kids ever done that?

haha how cute. I have worn flip flops while showering in outdoor showers like at the beach or in Samoa. Lots of homes have outdoor showers and I always wore flip flops or jandals but never in the bath. I suppose not a bad thought when your shower is above the bath, they may stop you from falling or slipping I suppose. You might have a money making venture there!

Hmm! Good idea! My little one is definitely a real smarty! In a good way. I am always amazed at the funny stuff she is coming up with. But, she is totally practical and never does anything that doesn't serve a purpose. Did that come out right? Homer strikes again! Now he's messing with my vocabulary. LOL!

Your daughter sounds like such a little cutie! I wear flip flops when I shower at the gym, but not at home. And like Jessica, I wore them faithfully when I lived in the dorms at college. It is a good idea.... your daughter is pretty smart.

Nope, I don't wear flip-flops in the tub. Actually, I rarely wear shoes unless I have to. Just don't like them.

That is adorable!! And smart too. What a good girl. We don't wear flip-flops in the tub here. When I was in the army we wore them, but they were worn more for what little protection they could give us against bacteria and fungus on the shower floor.
