Hello sarahruthbeth22!:-) The best relaxing option for me is to be with my family, to talk to them and to see them while I sit back and relax. My family is not living with me presently. My partner has flown back to our parents place to have some rest after the birth of our son. Yesterday, she gave me treat. She came online, put on the webcam and I watched them for a whole 6 hours:-) While she chatted with me occasionally in between, I saw them doing other activities together. I saw my son sleeping, playing with his mom, eating, cuddling with her, diaper changed, smiling and doing lots of other funny activities, LOL! He is so much a fun! It was a great relaxing and refreshing show:-) Other than that, I see a common factor between us. I too relax while watching movies, especially the action and war movies also a nice (if I can say so:-)) horror movie. Then I still love watching cartoons, especially Tom & Jerry lol! I think I am the weird one here. My best action movie so far is probably The "Ronin", though I have a long list of these action movies that I liked a lot. Chatting and talking to friends is also another relaxing activity, going out and feeling the fresh air, seeing children, being in light cold rain and many other activities that make me relax and feel fresh:-)

You like Tom and Jerry too? That is great. I am so glad that you got to see your partner and your son. I hope you will be reunited real soon.

To relax (not in a mellow in the bath sort of relax but a relax my nerves) I listen to rock music. Why it works I am sure but I would think it drains me of my energy making me feel tired...

I'm like you, a good action movie will do it for me, too. I veged out on "Conan the Barbarian," the other night. Good grief, what came over me? Last week I saw a terrific film, "Black Snake Moan," wow...that was one terrific movie.

Relaxing to me is listening to you favorite music of all time surround sound, while eating one of your favorite meals as well! Ahh That would be bliss to my ears, mouth, nose.... everything! Also being with a loved one to enjoy it all with you! =]

I find quite a few things relaxing. Reading, playing on the computer, watching TV/movies, and going for rides. I am sure depending on my mood I find other things relaxing more then most.

This is what I normally would do to relax myself: I like to curl up on my couch with a blanket, and a good book, maybe even a cup of tea, or coffee and some snacks. I also love to lay on my bed or sofa, have some soft music playing in the background (or nature Cd's) and listen to ocean waves, waterfalls, or birds.

Hi Sarahruthbeth, I think I am most relaxed when taking a bath. Being locked in a room by yourself away from the rest of the world and its problems is my way of being relaxed. Take care, Terry

Hi. Watching a really good movie can be relaxing, providing theres no work to do or errands to run... I do find reading a good book out in my garden is very relaxing or taking a walk along the beach...

Reading has always been my form of relaxation. I love reading novels by my favorite authors like Robert Ludlum, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Danielle Steele etc. I also have a monthly dose of women's magazine like cosmpolitan and Reader's digest. Seems I never run out of things to read. But I also love movies and I have a lot of DVD's to watch when I don't feel like reading or when I really love to watch a certain film.

I find lots of things relaxing... the rain, for example is very relaxing. Just sitting and reading is relaxing. Building/working on websites is very relaxing to me. A nice hot bath probably tops the list.
