Why do guys take only 5 minutes to take a bath while us girls take about 30

My husband spends a WHOLE lot more time in the shower than I do! I think, though, that guys like to pretend that we are sooooo slow about everything. Of course, there is an exception to every rule, but mostly, I think it is just a macho guy thing!

ha - I've wondered about the "really clean" part before as well :) My boyfriend however, spends just as much time as I do in the shower. He also leaves it in a much bigger mess! If he has to shave, he takes much longer than I do getting ready as well - he tries to say it's because shaving a face is harder than anything a girl would shave...yeah that argument usually ends quick ;) I'm always nervous about people who take 5 min showers or go in and out of the bathroom really really fast. Maybe thats just me though.

If it's any comfort to you, my boyfriend usually takes longer than I do in the shower!!! and I do take a long time, all my family hates me for that, he he... I don't really know, when we'll be living together, how are we going to manage that! Back to the subject, I think people that take 3 minute showers are only refreshing themselves, not really cleaning anything. I take about 10 or 15 just with my hair! =)

Hello ifinallyfoundmybaby, Ha Ha Ha! I don't think so. Some guys (not all) really can have a quick shower. I think they just do the necessary routines like brushing the teeth, splash some water and soap to clean themselves. Like us, (me especially) I like to do a longer routines (which I need to make it short as I have a baby who will cry out loud if he doesn't see his mom for more than 15 minutes) like brushing the teeth, cleanse the face, take a nice shower and daydreaming a bit and after 30 minutes, I will come out from the bathroom smiling! My husband is another different type of guy. He spends more time in the shower and while dressing up. Whenever he uses perfume, you can smell it from far away and he loves to spray all over his body until he can really smell the perfume himself! Very lucky that my husband and I are in the same league! Ha Ha Ha!
