Don't feel bad. She went to stay with her mom, she is having gull stones removed tomorrow, she will be back on Thursday. I just wanted to start a discussion and get some responses. Sorry to make you worry.

Could you be more descriptive here? I mean, is this a bad thing or a good thing for you? Are you hurt my your wife, or your daughter, or the both of them. How did ths make you feel? Hard for us to help you out here if you don't give us more details.

Well, I would say it is a good thing. Her mom is going in for surgery tomorrow and she wants to be with her. She will be back. I just needed to start a discussion and I thought maybe this would get some responses.

Excellent, I don't like to party alone! I've had more show up at this party, than what shows up at my house to party. I should have brought the PC out to the fire pit. Make it a very interesting night. I'm glad I don't have to work tomorrow.

Well I don't really know what to say but felt I should at least respond!
I'm far from an expert in relationships as my track record is pretty disastrous so I try to avoid giving anyone advice on them. No matter what the relationship was like though I know how it feels when someone leaves you. You'll get through it but whatever happens in the future I hope you find a way to maintain contact and a positive relationship with your daughter.

I'm sorry, I didn't make it all clear on purpose, to get responses. My wife went to be with her mom, she is having surgery tomorrow morning and she needed to be there. I had to stay home for our puppies. They are too young to travel. Everything is ok.

Last stitch to get points for payout, kinda play on words. So far I've managed to drink a 5th of tequila and 2/3 of her Black Velvet. 5 dogs? She took the puppies mamma, she rides well in the car. Her mom lives in Jackson Michigan about 160 miles away. So I have three puppies and one 2 year old. Besides I have all my friends in myLot! who can ask for anything more!

well its tough to me sympathetic towards you as you don't seem to have any remorse or emotions regarding your situation!!
there must be some sort of reason why she left you...
if you found out what the problem was then i suppose you could rectify the mistake on your part and get your family back..
but i think you wouldn't do it as you haven't asked us for a solution and you actually made this into a discussion where you can earn some money!

I didn't do anything. My wife and daughter went to her moms house yesterday, her mom had surgery today. They wanted to be there. I couldn't go because we have puppies that don't travel well. So I stayed home with them. I just wrote the discussion this way to get a few responses, to reach payout. I had no idea I would get so many. There is another discussion (Part II) it explains everything. I am still waiting for results on my mother in laws surgery though. Thankyou for your concern.

I am here now, I had to get some sleep. I was up for about 23 hour and drank a little too much on an emty stomach. Not a good idea, should eat before drinking! Surprised I didn't pass out!

This is one of those discussions where you have to read beyond the initial post to get to the truth. I was going to say that at 18 your daughter was old enough to decide who she wanted to be with, but it sounds like she wants to be with grandma. I hope your mother in law makes it through the surgery well, and you do not get too lonely waiting for your ladies to come back.

Thankyou, She had gull stones, I'm not sure if it is minor surgery or something to really worry. I like my mother in law, and want her to get better. My daughter is going to stay and take care of her. I shouldn't get too lonely, I've got all of you friends here in myLot. That helps lots!

She might have some misunderstanding with you that's why she left...so what did you do? Will you not try to win her back? What's the reason why she left with your kid? You know, things like this happen in marriages, but you can always make amends for the sake of your kid. You talk to her as soon as both of you are no longer mad at each other (that is presuming that you had a quarrel that led to this). Being alone is really lonely, so I guess it would not be long that you will have to win back your family...best of luck.

Im sorry to hear what your wife did to you my friend. But you forgot to mention the reason why your wife left you too. I am not snooping around for gossip. But it just that, we could be more sympathetic if you provided any reason why your wife left you. I hope you can move on soon too. Dont worry, your daughter is mature enough to return to you if she really loves you.
