Don't Trust Surveys

I've been doing surveys where my name is entered in a draw at the end of each month. On April 30, of this year, I received an e-mail saying that I had won $100.00 in groceries. An address was given for me to send a stamped self-addressed envelope, to claim my prize. I followed instructions, but haven't had any responce. At the end of June, I wrote a follow up letter, still nothing. I have since given up on surveys. Have anyone had a similar experience?
