How do you like that? That all this years, Snape is inlove with Harry's mom, Lily?

Snape tells Harry to look at him while he's dying. Harry had his mother's eyes.....

It made sense in an odd sort of way. There had to be a reason that Snape's loyalty to Dumbledore remained so concrete. Just inherently being a good guy at heart wouldn't cut it. The whole Severus/Lily unrequited love thing tied everything together. To be honest, I liked it.

It kinda made sense to me. I didn't think that Snape's hatred of Harry's father was solely based on James' actions in school. It's actually been a theory for quite awhile... On mugglenet there's a thing that points out that Severus Snape is an anagram for Persues Evans (Lily's maiden name). It's spelled wrong, but phonetically it's the same thing.

WoW! Snape's so martyr! I was so shocked upon knowing that he's in loved with Lily Potter. He had sacrificed his love just to make Lily happy.

I don't like that. Or hate that. It's part of the story. Haven't you ever loved someone who you couldn't have because this someone was with someone else? I did. It's part of the story's development...

loving lily was fine but hating he onlu son was not understandable, if snape loved so much he should have forgiven james and accepted their son harry and given him a decent childhood that way he cud be with a part of lily, and enjoy wat even james cud not.

it was kind of a give away in the previous books that snape liked lily.. if JKR didnt keep on emphasizing in the book that harry looked like james i would have though that harry was snapes son.. hahaah.. :)

It wasn't a big shocker actually. I knew Snape had his reasons for helping Dumbledore and Harry. I just didn't know that Dumby would resort to blackmail. I don't like book 7, it's too "nothing". It just answered the questions, and finished the series. It wasn't what I expected. End with a bang, right? Not the HP series. And the US version has a lot of typographical errors, I returned the book!

I'm not really surprised but what really surprised me is that Snape allowed himself to be hated and treated as an outcast even by fellow professors because he was and still in love with a woman who never was his to begin with. That's blind love and blind loyalty. But then love in the end did conquer all.
