Are PLUS SIZE CLOTHINGS very much available in your country?i really have this problem of shopping for clothes here in the philippines because i have a hard time looking for shops selling plus sizes. though some department stores sell plus size clothings, i don't like the designs and colors that are available. there are specialty stores that sell plus sizes but they are way too expensive. i only buy from these stores when my budget allows me to. it's not only clothings that i worry about, i also have a hard time looking for brassieres that would really fit me. most of the sizes available are asian sizes which normally are too small for me. this is the reason why i enjoy shopping when i am abroad because i could buy fashionable clothes fit me.

oh i know what youre talking about. every time i go shopping in an asian store (we have some of them around here, the clothes look really cool actually) i have to take sizes like L and XL because theyre soooo tiny. i believe that youre having trouble finding nice fitting clothes for you.
and brasseries, i dont even try to buy them in boutiques or fashion stores. i always have to go to special underwear stores, because they have all the sizes and not only cup a and b.
well, for clothes i really like H&M because they have all the fashionable stuff from size 34 to 46 i think and even an extra plus size section. also, do you know eddie baur? they usually make good fitting high quality clothes. besides all the plus size stores i know are more or less some private businesses.

oh yeah, i have seen eddie bauer clothes around and i am glad that they have big sizes that would fit me..

I so agree, I cannot find big enough sizes in imported clothes like I can in the us! I know a lot of my BBW friends have the same problem! We started a new forum where we discuss our issues and find solutions too. Come and join, we'd love to have you along.

In the US we have this great store called Layne Bryant. This store can be found in a lot of malls and carries modern plus size clothes. It can be really great because you can see something you like in the regular stores and then find something just like it in your size at Layne Bryant.
There was a trend where more stores were carrying plus sizes, but now they've moved their plus sizes to their internet sites and don't really carry them in the stores so much. It really is a shame though because the sales racks are filled with the tiny sized clothes that didn't sell. I think the stores should try harder to sell more evenly to all body types.

Very much available. A lot of stores here in the USA cater for plus sizes which is great.

Here in China we have plus sizes. They are very loose and comfortable for bigger people, but not to all. Still some people cannot find size enough for them and will have their clothes made in a tailor's shop.
