Highway 127 Yard Sale

It goes through the town where I live. It is supposed to start tomorrow, 8/2, but it has been going on here since last weekend. I can't wait until Friday. We are going to spend all day shopping the yard sales. It goes from Indiana to Florida. But, we are only going a few miles. I've already found a few bargains. I'm excited!!

I'd be excited too. I love yard sales. You can buy so much different stuff, cheap. The problem is, I tend to buy so much stuff, just because it's cheap, that I am over cluttered at home. lol But, still, I have a hard time resisting them.

I do the same thing. I already have 8 books shelves full of books, and there are stacks of them everywhere. And, what did I buy today? 4 more books. :D

Good luck on your yard sale shopping. i love to go to them also. They have one like this in arkansas also. we wen to it last year, but it was so hot that i could not really enjoy myself, it was over 100 degrees out side.I really just wanted to get back home in the air conditioning.

It was about that hot here today. I hope it cools down by Friday so we can enjoy it. But, we've already planned to take a cooler full of water and ice.

I have no idea where it is in GA. I only know it goes pretty much through the middle of Tn and KY.

I didn't used to like garage sales. I've just lately developed a liking for them. I never wanted to dig around in someone's stuff. But, now I do. LOL

My sister lives in Indianna and gets excited every year when this happens. She always finds great stuff. She and her daughters us it as a mother daughter day and always have some really funny stories. My sister is just a nut..... any where she goes she ends up with some crazy story. Never a dull moment when she is around.

I've gone to it locally, but never "traveled". I can't wait. It is going to be so much fun. I've already found some stuff. I've gotten several books. And, I found a 12 qt. pressure canner for $15.00. I can't wait to see what I find when we go all day!

There's a highway 127 that goes into southern Illinois as well. I wonder if it's all part of the same highway?
At any rate, that sounds like a fun way to spend a day! I love yard sales, even if they aren't strung out along an entire highway! :)

I have no idea. I do know it's in Indiana and goes Northwest to Southeast. Sorta. LOL It should be fun.
