I was visiting my girlfriend and she has twin girls. They are almost 8 months old...I picked them up to take them outside and when I got to the screen door to open it they grabbed onto it and were pulling it shut. So there we are, my hands are full and they are holding onto the door..As soon as I pry off one babies hands the other baby would grab on again. Of course, all three of us were laughing..And there wasn't anyone else around to help out.. so there I was holding 2 babies and the babies were holding onto the screen door...We weren't going anywhere real fast..After a few minutes we were able to break free and get outside...They were so funny...They are so quick with those little fingers...LOL...Just thought I would share my experience.

That is too funny and I'll admit kinda scary, lol. I'll be watching a 6 month old for a few hours a day for a few weeks and know ummm.... zero about babies. The last time I was around a baby was 7 yrs ago when my godson was born. I have no idea how you did it with too but I'm impressed!

It was funny..She also has a 1 year old daughter, plus the twins..and her son is 10. You better start getting some knowledge...LOL..I am suppose to be watching a 5 month old here soon, also.. Feed them, Burp them, change them, and put them down for a nap..Easy as pie...Keep your eyes on them at all times..LOL..

Wow, she's got a lot on her hands! I know I feel so nervous about it. My friend told me "it's no problem it will either crawl around or sleep the whole time" and I was like "Wait, what? They crawl?", lol. I don't even know what a 6 month old eats? This will be interesting, lol.

Oh wow that sounds funny. I can just picture it but that's what makes twins so special as they often know what the others thinking making it rather easy to cause trouble between the pair of them :P

That's cute. I wonder why these babies just grab anything they could touch! Specially my hair! *LOL* But oh well, regardless, I still find them cute. Those little hands. Those little toes. Whew! Babies are so nice gifts from God. But how they are too difficult at times to take good care of, so fragile and sweet but cries and everyone panics! =)

Yeah, they're curious. And they're the cutest, aren't they? =) I think I'm really ready for babies. I love babies. They make my heart melt. But I don't know if I could afford to have one right now. Anyways, I wish those babies well. May they have a good life. They're really cute. Whew. =) Thanks for the response. Have a great day ahead. Happy posting! =)

After reading the responses where you mention how many kids your girlfriend has, I'm just sitting here grinning... it reminds me of when I got pregnant with my first (she's now 17... MAN! LOL) Anyway, I went for my first ultrasound and I guess they expected me to ask if it was a boy or a girl--instead, I said "PLEASE tell me there's just one!" hehe Twins ran rampant through both my family and my ex's family so I wanted to be sure. They looked at me like I was nuts and just said "Um... yes... just one baby" :) I can't imagine having multiples... although I'm pretty sure that much of the time it can be fun! LOL

That is funny. I bet you were sweating the whole time waiting for an answer...We had a very good time..It is like she has triplets. The twins will be 1 before the other girl is 2.. She is thinking about moving closer to where I live and if she does she wants me to babysit for her...That will be loads of fun...LOL..thank you

That must have been a funny sight! I can just picture it. I only have ONE eight month old and we get ourselves into enough interesting little predicaments, I can't imagine having two of him!

You do have an interesting title. I was wondering why 2 babies and 4 hands makes troubles. LOL. I am sure you have fun handling the two 8-month old. It is a joy which cannot be repeated once more :P

Hello Feona1962, Aren't they sweet and cute? I love babies. They are so cute and their acts also so so cute. I just love them! Well, I don't need a twin to create a trouble at home. My 11 months old baby son (he is 11 months today *smiles*) really makes me headache sometimes. His hands are quick to grab, and he is also very quick to respond... Whenever I put him down, he will crawl and try to hold on to anything nearby and stands up. He will pull everything nearby him or try to open anything or eat anything that he 'thinks' can be eaten... One time, after coming home from the baby sitter's house to fetch him, I put him down after I opened the door. I wanted to put his bad and my car key on the table next to me. In just a split second, he crawled to the door and out from the house! I think when he grows up, I will miss this situation very very much....

Thank you for sharing..They are very quick...like you said, "it just takes a second" and they are somewhere else...They do grow up too fast. My friend also has a 1 and 1/2 year old also, so it is like having triplets..

I only have one and have problems like that. The worst is when I have him on my shoulders (he's 5, now) and he grabs the front gate and pulls himself toward it. He tends to slam my head/face into the gate. Definitely not fun.

How cute it is! Wow!I think with this "trouble" every mum would suffer it with hiddden happiness. There is only one little girl in my family, who is 1 year old too. Every time she meet me will dance to with great joy.I am so puzzled why she was so glad,my be i am the only person who would like to play with her...
