We have just moved house and because of all the change over of address we were without the net for about 3 day and we were totally lost,we couldnt do our internet banking and when I got back onto it I had so many emails, I know that we were busy with the move and all but I really missed the internet, we have had it on constantly for the past 5 or 6 years and it is really a part of our everyday lives! I think that has been the longest that we have been without it in all that time, how long has been the longest that you have been without the net and did you miss it?

It's a shame but I think it'll be really hard to live without one. I mean, most of us have lived before without it but things have become more convenient for us since it was invented. Where would my schoolworks be without Wikipedia? How will I communicate with my friends in the Philippines in the US without e-mail? Without the internet, the world will seem more bigger than it actually is.

I dont really like to respond in the affirmative, but it is true! My computer was out of circulation for a few days not long ago and I felt completely lost! Windows needed to be reinstalled and it has taken me some time to get things the way they were before! I have Internet 24 hours a day and I like it that way! I cant really live without my computer!

Yes because I am not dependent to internet. I can go to the bank to transact business. Our place is not yet technologically motivated. The common use of internet here is to help people find what they are looking such as research papers, studies.

Just last week, our computer is hanging and we cannot use it so we let the technician do the repair for a week. That was the longest time we didn't use it, and when I opened my emails there were lots of them unread. I missed the internet as well as missing my emails and my online friends.

Nope I can't live a day without it! Yesterday I was not able to connect to the net for about 5 hours. Its one of the longest time it has happened. I was feeling really awkward and went to sleep coz I'd nothing else to do and was bored. However I was really happy to have it back when I woke up and was wondering how dependent I am on it...

OMG! How did you do it? We went without it for a night recently and both my daughter and I were experiencing withdrawls! In the past we have gone longer while it is in being repaired but then we prepared ourselves emotionally for those times.

Of course I can live without the internet. The internet is just a source of information and entertainment to me. If I don't have internet, I can always go to the library to get any information I need. The Internet is also a source of extra money to me but I get very little profit out of it. I can always get a part time job if I need to earn money without the Internet.

When i was studying in Sweden, due to some unknown reason, the internet at my house was cut off for 2 weeks. I was almost driven crazy about that, since internet is the only way i communicate with my friend and family in China. I was so lonely and miserable at that time. Everything went right when the net was reconnected.

That sucks. I would die without the internet. I think the longest I've been without the internet was a year, and yes I missed it dearly. Internet=love
