I'm Singing for a Christian Drama in OH

God has opened an exciting door for me!
Some of you know that I am a semi-professional Christian singer. I have made some demo CD's. I love to sing for the Lord and He blesses me everytime I do it.
I will be singing at "The Living Word" Outdoor Theater in Cambridge, OH on Aug 11. I will be singing 5 songs for them before the drama begins.
Please keep me in your prayers that I will be a blessing to those who hear me. I want so much to help others come to know the Lord and God has blessed me with a singing talent and I want to use it for His glory. I have to admit that I am getting a little nervous, but then again, I aways do! God always helps me and I remind myself of that.
God is good. Use your talents/skills for Him! He blesses all of us so very much!

How exciting! I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job! I also sing praises to God in my church choir - I love it so much! It's amazing how many skills and talents the Father gives us, by His power and His grace. I have never done a solo, I would be so nervous! Hehe. You must have an gorgeous voice to hold your own all alone, God has surely blessed you. I'll give a prayer for you friend! Come back and tell us how it went afterwards!

I sing in my church choir too and I love it.
I bet you could do a solo! Maybe try singing with someone a few times...a duet and then you can feel less nervous singing by youself. You can do it!

I'm really happy for you that you have this wonderful opportunity. I'm pretty new to the Christian lifestyle but I'm a musician & hope that I get the opportunity to use my talents to spread the word of the Lord.

I am very happy with what you said friend. That is what all gospel musicians should have in their mind. Singing to draw people closer to God so that they can realise how wrong they have gone. So that the name of God will be glorify at the end. Don't you worry friend cos God will make you do more than you think you can do. Thanks and have a nice day.

Congratulations Springlady, it is nice to hear that God is using you in such a powerful way. I have a solution for you nervousness. When we are excited about something, we have basically the same feelings as when we are nervous, right? So don't think of it as being nervous, think of it as being excited.
